"The first one had to be returned to halfords as the screen was flickering,the staff were very efficiant and changed it straight away .This is the sixth sat nav we have bought and its by far the best of the various makes that we have purchased"

Cons: hated window bracket
"window bracket kept falling off window text to speech not great only good thing is accessories had navman if updated maps were reasonably priced would have another"

"Over all it dose the job well. The hands free phone is far to quiet and needs to be close to user to work. The map I up dated straight away and has so far only guided me astray once. The battery doesn’t hold it charge if left out over night. As far as tom tom's go, it fairly average and an ok buy if the price is discounted."

"It did what it said on the box. The only extras I have bought are a memory card, an rds/tmc traffic receiver and a case. On connecting to the computer it up-dated me to the latest TomTom map with hardly any hassle.
After searching the net Halfords came up with the best deal and their service was really good."

Pros: reliable, accurate
Cons: suction cup does not hold well in cold weather, many updates are for a fee
"A good reliable SatNav but graphics in others I have had are better and too many options to buy more like to update maps etc they want you to pay more.
Bought on clearance to save some money and no regrets but happy I did not pay full price for this one.
Suction holder often falls off so recommend buying an alternate mounting system as it is irritating to have it fall off frequently in particular in cold weather."

"When I arrived the reserved item was waiting for me. However, I found that the box was already open and had signs of wear and tear. Also, the Tom Tom GO 730 LCD screen was full of finger prints which meant that the device had already been used or at best an x-display item. What annoyed me was that the item was sold as BRAND NEW, though definitely this was not the case.
Having said that; the device worked fine and I am pleased with its functionality."

"Display very good, easy to follow directions for setting up. Voice activation works in most instances. Can be tuned into your radio for a louder output if required. The ability to adjust journey time according to time/day of travel is really helpful.For the price this was a real bargain. Add on such as motoring regulations in other countries and first aid advice a bonus. Even my young son (21) was impressed."

"After migrating to the Tom Tom 730 Europe it took a while to get used to the quirks after my old Sony NV-U50. The instructions are a little late for me but I'm getting used to it. Otherwise, this is a great piece of kit with loads of useful functions. Am looking forward to trying it in Spain and Portugal."
