Pros: practical design. Cons: plastic saddle fitting is fragile.
"Nice bike and easy to use. However, beware the saddle fitting is plastic and ours broke. The wheels are plastic too although sturdy enough. The frame only is steel, the rest is plastic, so the name is misleading."

Pros: great size for my little boy Cons: stand could do with being smaller
"I have brought this bike for my sons Xmas prescent so he hasn't seen or ridden it yet! But the bike it's self is very good it arrived within about 2 days!! So top marks for that, there were a few marks on the bike but nothing major, it was easy to assemble, light weight and of good build quality although the stand seems a bit to big for the bike as it's hard to stand the bike up! The bike needs to lean into the stand! Instead the stand is almost pushing the bike over!!"

Pros: kickstand, good brake, lowered mid section Cons: heavier than others available
"bought this for my son's 4th birthday and he really loves it. we put the seat down really low at first so he could get used to balancing on it whilst it was stationary and now we've raised it so he's on the balls of his feet. we take it to the park nearly every day though i have to carry it there as it's uphill and once there he scoots around very happily. we have now added a spiderman bell as the finishing touch - great bike with a lovely retro look."

"this little cruiser is brilliant! it looks good and is wonderfully sturdy. excellent value for money considering the cost of so many of the makes of balance bikes. it arrived 2 weeks earlier than estimated and was simple to assemble."

"bike arrived quickly for sons birthday with a flat wheel (which turned out to be a puncture) and a bend in the front of the bike - customer services were very helpful although a replacement would take a long time - try telling that to a 3 year old clinging on to his first bike on his birthday, i have heard good things about these bikes so may reorder and try again hopefully this is just a clich (reordering is quicker than getting a replacement)?????????????????"

"We thought it was hard to find a balance bike for our son as there were lots of reviews and so many different bikes available but most of the bikes were just to order so you couldn't actually see the bikes before you bought them.
We settled for this one because it had good reviews and also a reasonable price. It's been excellent ever since we got it and our 2 year old loves it!! He got it for his 2nd birthday. He's quite a big boy for his age so we were a bit worried how the bike would suit him but it's just right and hopefully he'll be able to enjoy it for a long time!
He's had the bike for 2 weeks now and he has really advanced and now picks up his legs as he's going downhill and every time we leave the house, without fail, he asks if he can bring his bike. It's been a great buy so I would definitetly recommend."

"I bought this bike for my son's 4th Birthday. I left it late to order so called the supplier directly, who confirmed they had some in stock and would send it as soon as they received the order from Halfords. It arrived the day after I ordered it, I was amazed! Although the bike is quite small, and therefore will probably only last him around a year, we still think it was a really good buy. He absolutely loves it, and rides it at every opportunity! Within 5 minutes he had the hang of it, and by the end of that day was whizzing along lifting his feet off the ground. A far better concept than stabalizers! Very easy to put together, sturdy enough, and much cheaper than other models. A great bike for learning to ride! I will pass it down to my Daughter when he's too big for it..."

"Can really recommend these bikes, they are briliant. It took our sons only a few go's to get the hang of balancing on them. Great fun for them and great fun to watch. Bikes were delivered quickly, easy to assemble and good product quality. Overall - money well spent."

"My 4 year old son loves this. He's only had it a couple of weeks and is balancing really well and is happy zooming down small hills with both feet up on the platform. Had been having problems getting my six year old to ride her bike and thought this one might help as says for up to 6 year olds. However it is too small for a 6 year old."

"Bought this for my 2 and half year old who loved it straight away. At first I thought he'd never get the hang of it but the second time of riding he took to it easily and is now whizzing around. Great idea to avoid stabilisers and easy for child to adapt to. They are also more independent and don't need pushing along. Lighter than a traditional bike and easily stores in the boot of a car. My son would never use pedals on his trike so this was ideal. I had a little problem with the back wheel but Halfords were excellent and sent a new one in the post within 2 days. Excellent service from start to finish."

"Just got this for my 2 1/2 yr old. Amazing service from the supplier. My son loves it already whizzing around and balancing with feet off the ground. Amazing to see how quick they adapt. Excellent quality, really sturdy and easy to put together. Been looking for a balance bike for ages but normally cost £100 +. This is as good quality, and the key thing is easy to ride."

"I bought the cruiser bike for my 3 yr old son, he absolutely loves it and calls it his motor bike (because it has a stand) After a week he was so confident he was wizzing around our local parks and I am getting stopped by other mothers who can't believe he's just 3 and balancing and handling the bike so easily. I cannot recomend these bikes enough, the kids love them!"
