"As stated in the title, when child falls asleep because the seat does not fully recline they end up with their head slumped forward:(
The speakers are a nice little gimmick .....but that's all they are! The volume of them is extremely low and barely audible.
On the plus end, the seat is well padded and looks and feels quality all over. Just a shame it does not fully recline and the speakers aren't better."

"This is a really great seat for any child and slightly undersold by its description online. It is soft and comfortable with loads of padding and a rigid feel especially thanks to the isofix system.
The best thing we have found was actually a shock, the head cushions inflate up or down with an integral squeeze pump and built into the headrests are speakers with a wire fed to the side of the seat where you connect an mp3 or cd player.
Really great seat all round and despite a high cost the safety and length of time it will be used is worth it."

"Although Recaro only officially test this in a few cars, it has proven to fit any car we've used. The ISOFIX bars can be adjusted to ensure the seat sits snug against the car.
Added bonus of builtin headphones makes a journey a little easier for both child and parents."

"We've always bought the recarro seats and have been very pleased with them, these ones are no exception.

But those speakers.. Why bother?.. They're worse than useless.. And I'm not talking about rubbish in some audiophile quality way, even at full volume they are too quiet to be heard above normal road noise. When the car is stationary and the engine is off you strain to hear them.. Very poor.
But ignoring them, the seat is very good."

"Good quality and excellent shape of seat, my son is 7 and ALL the other seats had head rests that made him feel closed in or the sides squashed his shoulders (he is average build), this is something I would not have considered until he sat in a selection of seats and pointed out to me what was uncomfortable. The design of this seat is perfect. and It looks more stylish hence more of an appeal to a slightly older child. Although this was dearer, due to the shape it was money well spent. Would highly recommend this.

"I bought this for my son who just turned 3 it is very easy to fit via the anchorage points and is extremley comfortable my son loves it.
It is very luxurious and quite slender in build compared to some others I looked at, The built in speakers are a nice touch as well

"Although this is a top of the range seat, the speaker in the headrest is inaudible and a replacement lead supplied was impossible to fit. Recaro admit that a child will barely be able to hear anything from the speaker and that is without car noise. This is supposed to be for the protection of the child's hearing but it should not be advertised as a feature when they know it doesn't work."

"This is the best investment that i have made. The style of the seat is fab along with the added bonus of the mp3 attachment, which my daughter absolutely loves. the seat is secure in the car and no need to worry that the seatbelt will cause any undue harm as it is held in place. And the service we recevied was second to none. The worcester store fitter (jenna) was wonderful, helpful and polite."

"We are very particular when it comes to ensuring that we chose the right products for our children, especially when it comes to safety.
We researched the market and considered many alternative options to the Recaro Monza Seatfix, but decided that this product ticked more boxes for us than many other leading brands.
The material was initially a concern as we thought it would quickly become quite dirty however this has faired better than other seats which we have purchased.

"I searched the market for a decent Isofix car seat for my tall 3 year old and this seems to be the most comfortable. The adjustment is not quite as good as a Britax and the price is perhaps a little expensive for what you get.

"This is a lovely seat, great if you go on long journeys as the seat is really comfortable. It has more padding than most other seats and my son loves having his own songs on. My husband especially likes that the seat has speakers for his own music as we don't have to listen to it too. Some reviews say the speakers aren't loud enough but this is not the case - It is perfectly loud. (If you like to blast tunes or are hearing impaired then it probably is quieter than what you're used to.)
I like the isofix as the seat is secure in it's place in the car. I'm glad I paid the extra for it, although I saved 10% by reserving online."

"After looking at all the reviews decided upon this car seat and pleased I did. My 4 year old daughter loves it, it is easy to put in and out the car and she sleeps well in it. "On the 'Must Have' List for my 4-year old's use was Isofix, comfortable headrest for snoozing and easy to buckle belt. Easy to clean would be helpful too. It was simple to install and quite secure and looked smart on the leather seats - other seats I have tried slipped and wobbled.The seatbelt fits nicely across the lap and buckles without much fuss or adjustment. I didn't realise the headrest was adjustable with a little squeezy air pump at the side. This is a bonus as she can sleep more comfortably on long journeys. I also didn't realise there was an MP3 pouch and headphone socket to speakers in the headrest. This will be very useful in the years to come, but not yet!"

"This is my second Recaro Monza Seatfix purchase, one for each car, so that shows how happy I am with the Seat. The only issue with this one is that a panel at the back doesn't quite fit correctly. I could take it back but the problem is so small I can't be bothered. Would always buy Racaro as the quality, looks are so much better than the competition"
