Cons: too many wires especially with traffic update
"I have previously had a Navman. I found the 205T easy to set up, use. Satellite can take a while to connect. There wasn't much difference between this and the newest 1200 models. Would recommend this if you like no fuss get in the car and drive. Defintiely worthwhile looking online for offers."

"I bought the 205T wanting a quick fix for my v. expensive car integrated system which has bust!
As soon as I took the 205T out of the box my expectations were low, with such a tiny package how could it possibly deliver?
To my amazement the 205T delivered on every level. The display is clear, uncluttered and easy to interpret. Postcode finder is accurate, something my car's system didn't support well.
The small size of the screen was not a porblem and in a funny way less of a distraction when driving. I have used the system happily for the last few weeks and until I can afford to replace my integrated car system, will continue to use. Highly recommended!"

"My husband plugged this into the cigarette lighter and he was off! Easy to use with a clear road map on screen. Good voice instructions. Re-calculated with no problem when we went a different way!"

"The unit is fine although it can be annoying when it gives you instructions to turn left or right when there is just a bend in the road .
I should of also read the spec more closely as i didn't realise that you can create a fantastic trip with lots of stop off's on the nice software supplied, but not be able to upload it to this particular unit. It only lets you go from point A to point B & use wayward points that are already in the unit."

"Had an old Garmin sat nav which I was very pleased with but it was out of date.( I also bought this in Halfords).When I decided to purchase a new one went straight to the Halfords site to choose and found just what I wanted at a very good price, so reserved it for pick up. The sat nav is excellent with so many features and free updates. You can play games,take pictures etc. and has a very clear screen with precise instructions. It has all the traffic info you could need and makes travelling a joy as you can now avoid hold-ups with the Garmins help. An excellent product that I would recommend to anyone."

Cons: strident voice
"Bargain priced, but maps more than a year old could mean an expensive update; check before you buy. Otherwise, an excellent product. Like most sat-navs, it can lead you round the houses, but quickly recalculates if you decide to take the short cut/detour. Safety camera warnings spot on, "T" models also pick up FM traffic congestion information and can recalculate a route avoiding the snarl-ups."

"This SatNav is superb and quality for the money. Handy extras, for example, a search engine for local attractions, travel locations, and an easy to use postcode locator. Only one minor point is that on a couple of occasions the SatNav has gone ahead or behind the location of the car, but only slightly, and it was easily rectified by resetting the destination. Easy to follow map if you don't want the Nav to talk, and speed indicator of the road and the vehicle. Easy to set up and install, with a traffic alert facility for traffic jams etc. I would recommend this product."

"This Sat nav is far better than Tom Toms. It is so easy to use, The voice is very clear and is not anoying at all. The traffic up date is exallent. The only thing i have found is that twice it hasnt been able to ditect that the sarp bends in the road are the same road I am traveling on and told me to take the next left then next right. This is not a problem though as you can see that they are very sharp bends.

"having resisted new technology for the last 60 years, I finally got fed up with being lost. This sat nav has all the functions that I need, forget bluetooth and Ipod, these are all distractions from the primary purpose and totally unneccessary. If there is one small failing, it is that it may not be quite up to date with recently changed speed limits, though to the observant, this should not be a problem."
