Pros: lightweight ease of handling, good gear performance
"I've been riding this bike for 2 weeks now and am very impressed by the smoothness of its performance and lightweight ease of handling. The gears change effortlessly with no clunkiness and slippages. Some earlier reviews said it was for 6ft + riders. Not at all the case. I am 5ft 9.5 and it's a perfect fit in all dimensions. Very impressive!"

"I will be leaving the country at the end of August so I was looking for a cheap bike which I could pass to a friend when I leave. I commute into London 7 days a week, 45 minutes each way and so far this bike has worked well. Considering you get a free service after 6 weeks it is excellent value. Very happy to recommend as a basic bike, why bother paying so much more at a store like Evans."

Pros: water run of channel on wheel rims, grip shift gears are robust, good paint finish, comfortable seat after worn in
Cons: none standardised brakes, funny size wheels, plastic parts., low standard peddle crank ballbearing, high maintanence.
"As the title suggests i've been riding this bike for 1 year and a half 10 miles every day. I keep it indoors and oil it after every time i ride it in the rain, so i've kept it in good shape.
-The bike is heavy to ride but i've got to say its given me some fantasic leg muscles because of it. Average 14mph for the distances i did.
Most of the parts are plastic so they tend no to fair to well if you need to adjust it after its built. Your fine if you never get a puncher. Its also not so solid to ride and it sometimes feels like the backwheel is shifting or going down.
-I could now become a bike mechanic after owning this. Punchers, none/low clamping brake problem after the first few weeks. Every week i generally have to tighten bolts or shift the brake / gear sways to make sure the chain doesn't rub on the derailer or gears shift suddently. After 5 weeks i made the peddle gears fixed because it took to much time to fix each week. The first break pads last 6 months which was very good but halfords replacement pads don't last anywhere near as long, You will also have to add extra washers to make standard pads fit. The biggest problem I now have is that the peddles crank wobbles in its socket so there is no resistance for a short moment when peddling and then there is. So it makes peddling much harder. I went from using gears 12-15-18 communting to now using gears 8-10-12 which is quite bad.
-4 punchers in a year is a bit silly and this was just going over dislodged tarmac on roads.
-Tires lasted a year before wearing down to bald which was ok as they are low profile anyway but they are a strange size. Ask them to fit 26 inch wheels like most bikes have and some kevlar tires to replace the stock, it wont cost much more and you wont get so many flats
So I fixed the bike and tightend everything up this week for the last time and i'm giving it away because it takes up too much of my to fix each week ....Mmmm i'm getting a super light single speed racer now and 5 times the price.
My conclusion, If you have the money then opt for a better spec bike with standardised parts I would of liked this bike to of last longer but it has saved me a lot of money and kept me fit. I would of bought a better spec bike if i had the money at the time.
also looks very nice once you remove all the stupid vinal stickers as the paint finish is one of its better features, i did that 4 weeks ago."

"I found this purchace extremely good value all the features are more than I expected. I had reserved this bike over the internet and was ready on time and the hand over by the halfords guy was excellent helped me with further recommendations and on my purchase. I did have a slight problen a few days later when changing gears and retured to the store for advice and adjustment again the chat who helped me was very polite and was helpfully not in just heklping with my bike fault but also when i went on to purchase further items for the bike. I can say so far that my experience with halfords has been excellent i would recommend to my friends and family"

"A great bike. A very comfortable ride. Excellent gears. Have riden it throughout the snowy period and have found it safe and stable in these conditions. Large wheels mean an effortless ride. great brakes. All in all probably the best bike I have ever owned."

"The bike was a very good bargin and a very good bike for the price i paid.
Only one thing let me down was the way the bike was put together most of the bolt's loose seat loose all cables loose. I was two mins out of shop changed gear bang cable came out went back into shop and had to wait in line again and id only just bought it."
