Pros: good bike Cons: weak tyres, weak rims
"had it about 6months and rid it about 3 times as it would not stop getting punctures. my advice is to buy it but buy it with some maxxis tyres as the tyres are very rubbish and some new rims to aid the tyres in puncture protection. i never even got to do a jump on it because of the punctures!!! :("

"Bought this bike for my 8 year old sons birthday on the advice of a helpful halfords chap who talked me through all their range. Bike is just right for him virtually indestructable, good brakes, bit on the heavy side but not expecting him to be doing backflips! All in all, happy with the purchase and can't fault the service."

"Just purchased this bmx for my sons xmas present. On first looks it seems very good value at the price I paid. My only concerns are that it feels very heavy, but it is well built so should last. I reserved this bike on line, very simple to do, the bike was assembled ready for collection 48hrs later, with no need to give a deposit. Overall, I'm very happy...."

"Purchased this bike for my nephews birthday and he loves it. The bike has everything a budding BMX'r could wish for. The Bike is a bit heavy for him at the moment to do tricks however he is only 9 years old. Would buy this bike again!!! Great service too - ordered the bike online which takes 3 days to construct before you can collect however I needed the bike after 2 days so I called the store and they looked out for my order and made sure it was constructed by when I needed it. Thank-you."

"I have had this bike for 3 Months, after about 2 months you see the true colours, the cranks start to creak, the pedals break, my handlebars had a massive sharp piece of metal so I could not put bar ends on. 3 stars to this bike."

"Great bike my son loves it and it will do everything he wants it to do. However look out for the quality! Over 4 days we had 3 different bikes - first bike looked ok on initial inspection but when we got it home it had holes in the handle bar welds. A big dent in the frame that had obviously been done at the factory and then painted over. Bike 2 had unacceptable scratches on the paint work which went right down to the bare metal. Bike 3 was ok but overall it was a hassle to get a good bike"

Pros: good alround bike well built, great colour, looks more expensive than it was, great 360 degree rotator, my boy loved it as soon as he saw it that counts, grin factor on my sons face, great helmet and price Cons: different sized wheel nuts front and rear., stunt pegs need long sockets to fit.
"Excellent product. Was ready instore to pick up the following morning after reserving it 11pm the night before, even though I went early as my son was so exited ! , plus I thought it might take ages to build. Staff in the Malvern store were very knowledgeable and helpful esp. re bike sizes. Ignore the website MAX age ranges for BMX's, this bike is as big as they get. My son loved it, especially the gorgeous blue colour, and the graphics. The Black wheel rims, black spokes, but with chrome spoke tighteners, really set it off as does the Xtreme logo on the saddle. Both of these show great attention to detail and really set it off above all other BMX's. Fitting the stunt pegs, I had to buy "long" sockets, normal sockets will not reach as both the axle bolts are quite long. Bizzarly, the front wheel nuts were a different size to the rear wheel nuts, (18mil and 17 mil), though Malvern staff said they should be the same. Stuggled to find a long 18 mil socket, but spark plug socket is the same size across the flats. That was the only downside. Other than that it went together within 10 mins, no problem. You only have to fit saddle, front wheel (loosen or take off the brakes pads first), and handlebars. You need also to connect the brakes to the 360 degree rotator, which is a work of art and brilliant engineering and according to my son "way cool", and "hey, check out my new BMX" !!!. It sounds complicated, but is not, it is very, very simple to connect and adjust. I have taken him to BMX dirt track, and skateboard park, nearly every day, where it has taken a battering ! no problems yet. When my younger son is older, I would have no hesitation buying him one also. I also bought a tony hawk BMX helmet, this comes with plenty of different sized padding to get a good fit. Again excellent quality, and an unbelievable price. Highly recommended, both the bike & helmet."

"i love this bike, the brakes are very powerful and a very strong frame once i had got used to it i started takeing it down the skate park now i can clear the box tailwhip, x-up . However it is quite hard to land but overall a very very good jump bike. The rims and tyres are very weak however."

"this bike is good and says what it is made for but i had to take it a bit further so i took it to a skatepark a i cleard the box and i landed on the concreat i poped my inner tube it is a very light bike nice 360 gyro headset a very nice nikon stem it has very weak tyres and weak rims now i have a bit of a buckld rim but i recon it came with that. the grips give blisters. the frame is unbeleveibly good. you need to get used to the handle bars the leg room is a bit good but apart from that the bike is highly recomended to other people who want to buy this bike.A+++"
