"I brought mine to use for work and to get fitter,ridden 12 miles a day the rear brake pads needed swapping for harder ones after a week,but this has been the only issue .
Otherwise in the 18 months I've had it it has been perfect ,lightweight,reliable and easy to maintain and no punctures due to the kevlar liners on the tyres.
I have paid £60 to have the front crankset changed for a 3 sprocket with a 52 tooth top cog and with this on it really flies,(the spped camera said over 40mph on 1 in 3 hill)
I think it is really well made,comfortable and would recommend one to anyone who asked me ,unless you are going racing forget the extra weight and complexity of suspension and go for a solid reliable and GOOD quality bike which the subway 1 is."

Pros: good all-rounder Cons: not the fastest of bikes
"This is not a bad bike at all and it fits the bill nicely for general riding. It is slightly under-geared at the top end, which means that it is not as fast as some. However, it goes up hills nicely, it is quite light and it has a smooth ride. I have found it ideal for country lanes (with the odd pothole!) and for gravel tracks."
