"Bought bike through bikes to work scheme and am well pleased with it - good for nipping about on or for putting in a few miles when u can't be bothered taking out the road bike !
Saddle's a bit naff though - changed it to something more streamline.

Pros: light and easy to ride
Cons: uncomfortable seat
"Bought this bike to commute to work, (about 15 miles a day) and it seems to have been an appropriate buy. To be fair this is my first bike in years so I dont really have a frame of reference but I certainly haven't been disappointed. One critisism is the seat is a bit uncomfortable, but that could be my set up."

Pros: good looking bike easy to ride
Cons: handlebar grips were loose that is all.
"i took the bike back for it`s 6 week check, it only needed the gear changing cables tightened. the weather has been rubbish but i`ve done about 400 miles in quite hilly country and the bike is really comfortable to ride. it has a good comfortable seat with suspension,good brakes, the gears are easy to change and i like the upright riding position. a great bike."

"Great bike, lovely to have good gears (after an ancient mountain bike), but on a muddy uphill lane on the first trip out the chain broke! Luckily a companion had a chain stretcher which saw us home and the local branch replaced the faulty chain next day."

"I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband,he is very pleased with the bike, and I would say that Tony the manager of Halford'sbike section Broadheath,Altrincham,was very helpful.The bike was assenbled very quickly, and as yet everything seems fine. It is just what he wanted light and a comfortable ride."

"Although i have fitted chromo forks and a different saddle,<dont need boingy forks>, this bike is excellent value for money. my only gripe is the gearing. One extremely low gear means you spend too long in it if you are returning to cycling like i am.<I live in devon> The bike seems efficient and well put together, delivery was excellent, staff helpful, and I will tour and ride for leisure on it. See you out there."

"Use the bike for commuting to and from work, 10 mile round trip. Comfortable to ride. Gear ratio slightly disappointing. Can easily max out on high gear. Got last bike in store for a greatly reduced price. Would have still purchased at list price of £220."

"Brilliant bike all round, light stylish fast. The only moan that I have is with Halfords in Hinckly Leics. When I got the bike home the handle bars, seat and the brakes were loose. Absolutly diabolicale."

"Thought Id give it a couple of weeks before writing this to give a fair review.
Overall Im very pleased with the comfort, ease of the gears changing, and the braking system.
The bke rides smoothly, and after completing a 18mile ride on it today, I found it very comfortable.
However I found that it realy needed an additional cog to provide with continual pedal motion when at speed.
Good buy, recommend it"

Pros: perfect gearing and overal comfort.
Cons: time is too short.
"After riding this bike for the past month I've concluded that it's the best thing I've bought in years! The gearing is truly amazing and makes riding on all terrains totally effortless only aided by the perfect riding position and comfort of the broad soft saddle. On the 20" model it all adds up to sheer relaxation and I feel that I could ride it all day.
My only gripe is that I can't spend enough time each day using it but with warmer weather to look forward to and lighter evenings on the way then even that problem will quickly be resolved."

"I was disappointed when I got this bike home yesterday but it looked quite nice in the showroom.
The build quality is less than sturdy and I feel if I were to hit a pothole, the whole thing would buckle underneath me. Moreover, the brakes squeal loudly on the slightest touch (a common complaint I believe).
I'm sure the head nut is missing or not in situ correctly as the whole handlebar linkage has 1cm of play in it, no matter how I try to adjust it!
Lots of other niggles but build quality and seemingly lack of robust durability means I expect this bike to last me 2 years of service before breaking down or wearing out, even with light use. The 2 year frame warranty alludes to this likelyhood too.
In my opinion all bicycles are overpriced anyway, compared to the mechanical complexity of a car why do they need to be so expensive? This example is easily £50 overpriced, even with the reduced ticket price at £199.
I should have stuck with a "Raliegh-type" product, even if only to spend another £50 or so for peace of mind.

"Looked and sat on the 20" model in local store and decided that, compared to my existing bike, I needed a 22" frame (I'm just over 6 foot). Glad I ordered the 22" frame which fits me well.
Ordered and picked up the bike from Croydon store while visiting IKEA. Some confusion at store in finding the bike but was sorted in the end.
Quickly put it together in half an hour and all gears and brakes worked without any adjustment.
Bearing in mind I'm 60+ and was moving to a more comfortable bike with suspension - I was very pleased. Gear changing is a delight. Old bike was drop handlebars and gear change on down tube.
My only criticism would be that I run out of gears on long down-hill runs. Perhaps I could change the crank wheel to a larger one. I've not yet needed to use the two small crank wheels on the road! (younger riders may want more speed).
