Pros: good if it does what it says on the tin
Cons: not compatible with macs
"I never got a chance to use my purchase as it was only after several attempts to get it working that I found out it was not compatible with Apple Macs. From what it claimed to do I should imagine it is very good, which is why I wanted to buy it. In this day and age I can't believe that it is only compatible with PC's."

Pros: practically foolproof.
Cons: nothing really.
"I was recently flashed twice whilst travelling 35-38 mph in a 30 zone although doing the same speed as all other traffic. so far I have not received the dreaded letter but 6 points in 1 day for nothing much got me thinking. My mate has one of these and he highly recommended it. I have been using for over a week now including a long trip and I'm very pleased with it. Easy to use and set up."

"I bought this primarily for speed limit notification near cameras, it works really well and is highly accurate. I love the average speed notification, it continues to warn you whilst in between SPECS cameras so that you can keep an eye on your speed throughout. Don't know how I managed without this as now I can concentrate more on the road than on the speedo. The build quality isn't great but overall a well featured product.."

Pros: laser detector and camera database
Cons: extremely slow gps acquisition time
"The RoadAngel plus can take upto 30 minutes to acquire a satelite signal making it useless for short journeys. The unit once acquired is very good but the huge delay in acquiring it's GPS signal is very frustrating when a TomTom takes less than a minute."

Pros: battery powered, saves your licence, woth it's weight in gold!
Cons: slightly larger than other units on the market, picks up everything (old cameras etc)
"My old RoadAngel stopped working, and it's one of those things that once you have had one, you cannot imagine how you lived before it, so it wasan important but immediate decision to purchase one.
There are some good alternatives out there, but they are simply imitations of the real thing, and the real thing being a RoadAngel unti.
The biggest advantage (apart from keeping a eye on your precious driving licence!) is that this one has a battery installed, so you don't have to have cables etc running all over the show, and the battery life is pretty darn good if I'm honest.
This product is good for those who drive miles and miles a year and value their licence."
