Pros: greatly reduced risk of damage - to car or people! Cons: we have not found any!
"Doesn't eliminate the need to always look before you reverse, but what about the black wheely bin on a dark night? And how stupid is it when two neighbours reverse into each other in daylight ... so we had these fitted to our Vauxhall Agila two years ago! Have proved so invaluable even though this model has only a simple but graduated audible alert. So convinced of their benefit are we that we will shortly be fitting these to our brand new Nissan Qashqai even though it has a reversing camera fitted. Well worth the extra £99 on top of the cost of the car."
