"So far so good with this tyre. Bought to replace a threadbare tyre so decided to go for hardwearing one. Can be hardwork on dry roads, but prob because it's an offroad tyre, but very good in the wet.

Pros: no punctures
Cons: higher rolling resistance
"After suffering 5 punctures in as many weeks on my new Specialized Hardrock I decided new tyres were required! Rather than jump straight in with a £25 tyre I thought I'd try Halfords own make, Difference was self evident, much more solid tyre involving some effort to put it on. Big nobbly tread does give some concern on gravel and stones where you can feel the bike taking it's own route despite steering input. On road quite a bit of noise and clearly more rolling resistance. Having said all that....haven't had another puncture in 150 miles of riding over 10 days, tyres are slowly wearing in and feeling more comfortable....my advice, need a good strurdy tyre to get you through the rough then buy it, better than a puncture!"

Pros: good value for money, lasted me 1000 miles
Cons: can't ride over large patches of broken glass not, that you'd expect them to
"Bought these to put on my Diamondback M05 - offered a small increase in speed, and a large increase in grip going round corners in autumn - saved me from lowsiding as much... not pleasant...
as i said before, lasted me for at least 1000 miles, and will last the theif who stole my bike a thousand miles aswell."

"Great tyre for price feels solid and good smooth ride on or off road grip is ok havent yet had a puncture but am sure this tyre would resist most things within reason shards of glass or large thorns etc... i would buy some more when needed bikehut is begining to be a name you can trust to do the job have brought other bikehut products and was very pleased."

Pros: fast rolling/grippy
Cons: no kevlar protection
"This could be a great, value for money tyre. Nice pattern, fast rolling, grippy(if you turn the rear around) But they must have forgotten to put the Kevlar in my set, as glass and flint just cut straight through. I got these for the Kevlar protection stated and was disappointed"
