"I wanted a cover for a Caterham 7 to protect it in the garage and on occassion against the elements when I need to keep it outside for a day or two.
The cover completely covers the car but as other reviewers have already pointed out, the straps are somewhat difficult to use, particulary with a low slung car like the Caterham. However, it has not really been necessary to use the straps due to the elasticated ends and the good enclosing fit."

"The cover fitted my Nissan Pixo exactly.
As I am away for 3 months in New Zealand I am hoping it will stand the ravages of the English weather, but only time will tell. I will be in contact with Halfords if it doesn't. I have already recommended it to our friends as they have the same car. I am sure if it is still in tact when we get home they will be getting one for their car."

Pros: perfect fit for my car
"The car cover fitted my MX5 perfectly (small size) and kept it free of ice and snow during the cold spell. If not put on with straps may blow off in a strong wind, but I have mostly just used it without doing the straps. Easier to fit with two people but I can do it myself. Good buy."

Pros: tight fit - measure your car before buying!
Cons: securing straps in the wrong place!
"Good product, does what it says on the box, but why oh why haven't they moved the securing straps yet? Read loads of other customer reviews on the same problem - just move them fore and aft half a metre so that you can secure the cover just under the front and rear bumpers, instead of trying to lie down under the car (in the dark!) and see if you can throw the end of the strap to the other side?!!
Otherwise, it's great not having to de-ice or demist the cars in the morning - bought one for my daughter as well."

"Picked this up for my mx5 just before the recent spell of bad weather and it has served it's purpose very well.
It fits really well and I left it on for nearly two weeks with no problems. Would definitely recommend."

"Bought to fit a Nissan Micra and is a good fit. Be mindful if have a roof aerial as had to temp' remove mine for snug fit but easily screws back. Survived the recent gales due to the two restraining straps that fit under the car from side to side. No instructions so have to be careful to use right side round to be waterproof. Keeping car clean and dry up to now. Had to return first cover as vacuum packed and clasps on restraining straps would not fasten together as had been compressed and gap too narrow for one to fit inside the other."

"Bought to replace a worn out cover for my MGB. Fits like a glove. Has survived the wind and rain of the past couple of weeks with no problem and no apparent leaking. Only cost a third of my last cover which to be fair lasted 6 years.

"The quality of this product is poor. The securing straps are stitched on in such a way that the material rips at the seam in windy conditions and the cover blows away."

"This car cover is fantastic, im on my second one after a year, due to snow issues. its completely waterproof and with the straps underneath it ads extra support, i would not use this product in the snow though, as it sticks to the car. But other than that it is definitely worth the money."

"Having done a little research, I settled on this cover for my MGA, whose length is exactly the same as that of the cover. Sure enough, it fits like a glove, was easy to use and secure. It seems rainproof and we have had some windy days which have not troubled it.

"The major aspect of this car cover that separates it from the rest is that it does not have to be removed after 3 days of use.
As well as that, it is elasticated in all 4 corners ensuring a brilliant, snug fit that the wind cannot challenge. There are 2 straps underneath for extra security but you will not need these in reality.
It is expensive for sure, but worth it if you don't want a 3 day limit on your car cover."

"This cover is good for the price. Could do with a central strap as an addition as the straps at either end hold it but it does flap a bit in the wind. The material and fit seem good. I put it on a 69 Fiat 500 and its not to bad at all. Would fit a larger car better, but its half the price of a tailored one. I have only had it for a few weeks, so can't comment on its durability, but it looks well made."
