"No matter how cheap, you should avoid this product. The gauge is useless - two pumps took the pressure from 25psi to 40psi. I had just replaced a two barrel foot pump and this massive increase is not possible. Also the plastic connector is very poor quality.
If you need accurate tyre pressures for driving then avoid this product. If you need to inflate a football, buy a bike pump."

"A very powerful pump. Very good for pumping up soft tyres. NOT so good for trying to top up by a bar or a couple of psi.

"I have had two of these in the space of 18 months.
Both failed completely - its the design, the valves are just rubbish. There is a small circular piece of what looks like leather / rubber that acts as a seal to prevent air escaping and eventually they don't work anymore and all the air escapes. You're left pumping like mad but its all pointless, the air just escapes.
-- and don't even get me started on the PLASTIC screws that hold the valves in!
Who the heck designed this thing?
Both my pumps ended up in the same way. Keep away from these, they just aren't sturdy enough - absolute rubbish."

Pros: easy to attach to valve
"I don't know how long this one will last. Bought one similar from Halfords many years ago and it finally gave up the ghost. I have changed all the tubes on our bikes so they have schrader valves because it is so easy to get up to PSI 85 with this. I can't do it with a hand pump. High pressure makes easier cycling! It is a little more than I wanted to pay but if it last a long time, it will be a good investment."

Cons: rubbish pressure guage.
"Pumps up quickly, pity the guage doesn't work properly when using it.
On each pump, the black needle jumps up a couple of psi but doesn't settle back at the actual pressure. After half a dozen pumps it's up to 40-50 psi! So, I have to disconnect/ reconnect the pump to show the actual pressure.
P.S. This is a replacement, as the first one did the same thing."

"Bought this to replace a poor quality single cylinder pump that I bought ages ago, as I could never get the nozzle of that one to lock onto the valve.
The Halfords Twin Barrel Foot Pump and Guage is easy to attach, and seems to wack up the pressure with just a couple of pushes on the footrest.
What was even better - it was on a reduction when I got it. Can't be bad"

"Makes light work of pumping the tyres. Nice and sturdy. However pressure gauge appears to be high when the tyres have first been pumped then drops. WHy is this? This did not seem to happen on my old michelin one although that was single barrel and was harder work. This is good for the price but recommends on the instructions buying a tyre pressure gauge with it. DOes this mean the gauge on this is not accurate? WHo knows?"

Cons: connector although solid was a bit large
"Solid pump. Old single barrel pump required numerous pumps to inflate. All I need now is one or two pumps down on the pedal. Connector also very secure, however a bit stiff and could be a bit awkward to connect to small wheels. Meter is also fairly accurate, now not requiring for me to repeatedly disconnect and reconnected to check pressure is at correct level."

"After much deliberation of whether to buy a manual or electric foot pump i decided on this model.The booster pack i have with a tyre inflator on it is unreliable and soon runs out of power.T he beauty about this is that it doesn't rely on electrics or compressers.It took me about 5 minutes to blow a tyre up from empty,the double barrel construction giving you twice the power.So far very impressed.Would highly recommend"

"So far so good. This product is a replacement for a previous Halfords pump which lasted about 5 years. I did purchase a pump from another retailer but on the first attempt to use it it leaked air so returned it and got money back. Have used this twice on a slow puncture and no problems so far."
