"After using Halfords own brand oil in my BMW 650, and experiencing crunchy gear changes and generally harsh feel to the bike I changed to Castrol Power 1. What a difference! I would recommend it for any bike with combined engine/gearbox lubrication. Best to check with manufacturers recommendations though."

"Do a lot of riding, (~50,000 miles over the last 3 years) always used this oil and the same stuff under its previous name of Castrol GPS. Never had any problems, does exactly what it says on the tin! Little bit more expensive than the unbranded stuff but well worth every penny + halfords seem to have one of the best prices around for it :-)"

"Pure liquid engineering for todays advanced performance engines. I have used this in evrey Honda I have owned. Even if you dont do any other servicing to your bike always look after the expensive bit, your engine with the best oil on the market."

"good quality oil for the price-had problems on cold starts during the winter wouldnt turn over and its a fuel injected bike-filled it up with this stuff instantly lubed up the engine no problems afterwards smoother running engine more revier too!"

"Did an oil and filter change with this the other day and it feels like I'm on different bike. The engine is a lot smoother and will pull from just about any revs without the normal stuttering. I'll be using this from now on but perhaps I'll see if it's cheaper anywhere else."

"Great oil which gives a noticable throttle reposnse when applied rather than part-synth. My only grumble is that you cannot get a 5 litre tube because I always find I have to buy a 4 litre and a 1litre (which are too expensicve)"
