"Purchased to replace worn out battery in Honda CB400 Super Four. Easy to set up - added the battery acid to the battery and charged for 1 hour and then fitted to the bike. Strong charge immediately and seems to be working fine. Good fitting instructions and battery care advice. Lots of email/text reminders from Halfords about the reservation - a good service and good battery. I'm new to motorcycle maintenance so not going to say too much about the capabilities of the battery other than bike now starts up fine."

"Very simple to install - they've made it really easy to fill with the push-to-install acid kit, so there's no mess at all (although I'd keep kids well out of the way!). Up and running in less than 30 minutes and apparently it'd have enough charge to run. Personally, I stuck it on my trickle charger for another 48 hours, but I think it'd have been fine without. Good price for a branded battery, and I could reserve and collect within an hour."

"winter can be very tough on bike's batteries, specially if you don't use them often..
i used to keep my old one on charge, and it still gave up on me after only 1 week of nights in the cold (alarm on)...
now the new one is a sure start every time.
easy to fill and clear instructions, it would be ready to use from the box, in about 20 minutes, but i read somewhere that adds up to life battery if you also charge it fully the first time, and that needed other 3 hours...

Not sure pouring the acid into the battery will be to everyones taste but its really easy.
I had a full charge and 12.7 volts when the acid went in, I stuck it on the new trickle charger anyway.
Have seen no problems with it.
I know Halfords do say it may be swapped for a Varta one, but I'd have preffered the Bosch one. Apprently they're moving away from Bosche these day so I guess more people should expect this."

Pros: longer life no spills no maintenace performance
Cons: no cons its worth the extra in the long run
"this battery uses agm technology ( absorbed glass mat ). developed for the aircraft and military. inbetween the lead plates is a glass fibre mat which the electrolite is absorbed by in gel form. this prevents vibration between the plates and also a no spill situation. so when your'e machine tips or falls, no worries. it is 120% more efficient than normal lead acid, and maintenance free for life. will be happy sat for up to 18 months without charge, and recharge faster. it comes in the box "dry" with an easy fill acid pack, read the simple instructions, this means the battery is like new when you get it, no worries about shelf life or discharge due to storage. you can fill it up leave it for half an hour and go, but it is advisable to charge it properly for a few hours for best results."

"This product is way overpriced but a nescessity as it is the only battery for my bike. I have to replace it every year as it cannot last the winter not being used, unless I put it on trickle charge which wastes electric.
What I will say is Halfords is the only place I can ever find one and if they don't have it they will get it quick.
