"I forgot the lights of my car and the battery went down. When my motor breakdown insurers started the car, they suggested I go to Halfords Eastleigh immediately and buy a new one, as I would not be able to start the car. I ran to Halfords Eastleigh and instead of waisting my time, they advised me to quickly go to the one on Winchester road. I went there and they sorted everything for 10-15 minutes. They found the right battery for my car, fit it quickly and I was ready to go. The battery is working perfectly, but the service received was exceptionally good!"

"The best element of this purchase was the online selection/reservation. It's never previously occurred to me to change my own battery but googling to work out the cost of a garage service got me to Halfords' battery selection page. Being able to find out which battery was needed for my car and go pick it up meant it was easy to just install the thing myself - who knew it was such a simple job! The process was demystified and the customer service was very good. Battery has been great so far so thumbs up from me!"

"As a small lady driver with no car maintenance know how (I'm not being sexist here, just honest!), I was dismayed to find my Nissan's battery had completely died. Rang around a few local garages - much more expensive than Halfords and they didn't have any in stock either. Reserved the battery on line after talking to a very helpful lady at my local store. Got a "homestart" from the breakdown service, drove straight there and had it fitted for me by a very helpful lad who was frozen to the bone but still cheerful. Glad to have this opportunity to tell everyone what a great service Halfords offers."

"From the word go I was assured that the battery would be the correct model to exactly fit the car, and there were suggestionson the website for alternative types of battery if I had decided not to stay with the original.
The price was fair and the battery was ready for collection on time and it was fully charged so when I fitted it the car started without any trouble at asll.

"This is a great example of being able to check online what is best for my car and pick it up at my local store. There were no problems with the processing of the order and the staff in the store were very helpful and the transaction went through with no problems or issues.
