Pros: good job no problems
"Instead of paying a fortune to have the name VOLVO on the side of the battery (Which you can't see when fitted). I opted for the Halfords own brand (Which you also can't see when fitted).I'm well pleased. I ordered online drove to the shop and was there a whole 15 minutes before driving away with four years guaranteed battery life. It was also really worth while having it fitted by an expert so I didn't even get my hands dirty. Good Job Halfords !"

"I can't really give a great review on this as I've not had it long. It is a battery and it starts the car 100% better than the last one, but I obviously cannot comment on it's long term performance. I have to say that this battery was the best price / performance I could find."

"The gentleman was very helpful I paid for the fitting which took aprox 1/2 hour in the dark and was cold that night and even tho they were short on staff they still did a wonderful job on fitting the battery thanks again halfords and my car has started every time with this cold weather we have been having."

"recommended replacement for my ailing BMW battery. It's taller than the original it's not as long as the original and because of this the retaining clamps cant be fitted. Not sure if this breaches mot standard?"

"Having left my car for over a year without starting it, it was no surprise that the battery was totally dead. Having reserved this online the night before I arrived at the store to find it waiting at the till for me. Staff were friendly and helpful explaining how to fit it and once it was in the car started first time and has run perfectly since! Great experience!"

The one thing that stands out is the excellent service by the Huddersfield store, they did a drop test on the old one, and although inconclusive, fitted the new one (on my instructions) in the rain without a grumble. Thanks."

The young fitter installed it in a couple of minutes and it started my car instantly although it had been standing for seven months due to my illness. "This battery does exactly what it says on the tin.
As a replacement for a dying battery that would not hold a charge it is refreshing to be able to start up first time every time with much more power than my previous lead acid unit. This is probably due to the higher power ratings than my previous one had.
The dimensions are exactly the same as my old battery which was important as it had to fit in a tight space in the boot of my car.
The built in carrying handles are a good idea due to the weight of car batteries.
I will wait to see how it performs during the cold winter mornings, and the 4 year guarantee is comforting to have."
