"Quality Battery much better starting power than the base HB063 which only has 360 CCAmps. This one has 440 CCAmps.
I've fitted this to my Citreon Xsara VTR Coupe and my wife's Sport Ka, cars always start no matter what the weather.
Good availability in all Halfords stores."

Quality appears very good. Easy to fit and the car has started perfectly since, despite the very cold weather.
Very happy with the purchase. It was in stock when I needed it and "Reserve and Collect" made it all so easy."

"Wanted a car battery. Knew Halfords did them, so checked online. Several to choose from. Checked reviews and their own name brand battery (Calcium HCB063 - suitable for my car) got good comments. So booked it online, went down to my local Halfords, waited a couple of mins for them to get sorted and pay, Halfords guy fitted it....and off I went... Good job done."

"No problems since getting this in-situ. went from always leaving my lights on and returning to a flat battery a short time later to still always leaving my lights on (symptom of a disconnected buzzer and a forgetful mind) and returning quite some time later to a still functioning battery that can start my car. great"

Cons: flimsy handle
"There isn't much that can wrong with a car battery when it is new. If it fits the car and starts it with relish then it is fine. The battery fitted without problem thanks to Halfords' online system of finding the correct battery size on keying in the registration number of the vehicle. It also started the car first time without needing charging first.
The real test will be in something over 4 years time when the warranty has expired. Will it still be holding its charge well then?"

"I am very pleased with the whole purchase experience. I went to Halfords on-line, gave the reg.no.of my car and it correctly identified. It suggested three suitable batteres in different price ranges. I chose the HCB063 and 'clicked' for it to be reserved for me. Within minutes I had a tele.call from the store saying my fully-charged battery was ready and asking if I would like it fitted for me. I am very pleased with both the battery (which has a 4 yr guarantee) and with the whole buying experience."

"I haven't had to buy a car battery for ages and was surprised by the prices of the branded ones. This Halfords one seems reasonable by comparison and has a four year guarentee. I opted for the fitting service too which was very efficient. It ensured the battery was put in the right way and they recycled my old one."
