"I reserved a basic tyre pressure guage and despite the busy time of year, the order was ready for collection next day, and I picked it up with no fuss at all.
Product is excellent value for money. Basic but very accurate. Well done Halfords - good job as always!"

Cons: instructions confusing
"I bought these mainly for the tread depth guage and it's a good tool to have especially if you drive a lot of miles. My only critisism is that the instructons don't give you enough information on how to read the guage and there are too many numbers on it which seem to be pointless. But overall once you've worked it out it does the job."

Pros: no batteries to replace, accurate, easy to fit
"Does what it claims to do, and most importantly it's accurate. No batteries so no risk of needing replaced in a moment of need. It's also pretty solid and the chrome plating feels like it will last for a long time."

Pros: inexpensive, works well
Cons: can be awkward to use
"I have not tried the tread depth gauge, but the tyre pressure gauge does exactly what it says on the tin. My only criticisms are that (a) it can be fiddly and easily dropped, especially on a cold day, and (b) as the inlet is on the side rather than at the end it can be awkward to get it properly connected to the tyre valve. Apart from those two observations, I'm perfectly happy with it - and it didn't cost a fortune either."
