Cons: price is very high
"I purchased these load bars on spec as they looked as though they would fit my trailer. It was a good buy. I just needed to be careful when drilling the holes for the bolts.
I also needed slightly longer bolts which I purchased from my local DIY store.
The web site said it would take up to 7 days for delivery. It actually took 2 days from order. Very pleased with the outcome except the price."

Pros: very easy to fit, cheapest on the internet with free p&p
Cons: instructions ok but only ok
"I found these to be the cheapest on the internet, and once purchased arrived very quickly.
All in all they where very easy to fit to my ERDE abs cover, and the holes are pre-drilled in the metal frame, so I only had to drill the plastic cover with 8 holes.
Took me around 20 minutes in total to fit.
Will need drill and large bit

Pros: very good quality
Cons: desirable bit of kit that is way too easy to steal
"these are great solid bars for erde abs cover, and to be fair, not bad price for the quality & parts supplied. instructions are very poor, but google fitting instructions & there is a good tutorial with pics. i drilled my own holes through abs top & metal frame, so bars would fit the top box we had. halfords delivered very quickly (few days).
the only fault or negative i can see, is that anyone armed with a spanner or adjustable wrench could steal these bars off the trailer in a couple of minutes. (& watever was secured or locked to them). i have pot rivetted the upstands to the abs cover & upstand to curved bars to prevent any theft."

"This does exactly what it says, the only critisism is that the instructions aren't very clear. You have to drill 8 holes which are prtapped for you no problem there but it mentions about putting in strengthening bars which are provided but it doesn't make it clear where they go. Having said that I am very pleased with the product"

Pros: great extra space, halfords staff advice, sturdy cover and locks
"Solved the challenge of taking carrying 4 cycles by road with an Erde 122 Trailer, ABS Lockable cover, Roof bars and 4 Halfords Advanced bike carriers. We got a great dry easy tow trailer for the camping gear and a chest height rack to load the bikes on. This was so much easier than a roof rack and rear carrier combination. Erde roof bars now appear to be stocked at Halfords and fitting is not tricky."
