"As our dog is still a puppy and therefore still growing then I didn't want a more expensive harness, so was happy to compromise a bit on performance. Once adjusted, this is fairly easy to put on as you only have to make sure one paw is placed in a particular place while the harness is on the floor/back seat, and then one can just fasten two clips. The seatbelt is fed through a loop at the back of the harness.
The downsides are that the harness is quite heavy (due to metal half moons for attaching a lead to...not necessary for us at the moment; I haven't fully investigated taking them off, though) so the harness tends to twist around when she moves in the car, so although it fitted well when she was standing, it can gape a bit depending on if she is lying down; this means that she can chew it - and did when there was only one of us in the car (ie, no one to supervise)! Also, again perhaps because of its weight and therefore it not staying in the right position on our puppy, or maybe because the loop one passes the seatbelt through is quite long, she is able to move around and access the actual seatbelt - to chew or play with. Adjusting the belt once on is quite difficult as the parts are a bit stiff.
So, works quite well if you can supervise your puppy on the journey and ensure she is not chewing the harness or seatbelt, or if it is calm/tired out. So, I would recommend it as an interim harness, but not for the long term."

Cons: size very small
"This product looked perfect so i reserved online. On collection of the harness i asked to take it out of the packaging to check sizing. It looked and felt very good quality - However - the sizing is incredibly misleading, I reserved a large to fit on a mid sized Lurcher (part whippet so not very big!) - however ther large would not have fit her at all or a Lab or dalmation as on the picture on the packaging! On its smallest fitting I'm fairly certain it would have fit on my very small jack russell! so i didnt purchase as Halfords no longer stock the XL size."

"I looked at this on the internet and thought what a fantastic idea - and as it says on the box, was nice and easy to fit. Using the harness for walking my unrulely dog has been great - she no longer pulls !! However using the seatbelt attachment, she quickly became tangled up with the seatbelt, and within 2 days figured out how to wriggle out of it, I guess if you have a settled dog that is ok in the car this would be fine, but if you have a dog thats unrulely - your better of getting bars and sticking the dog in the boot."

"This harness is fantastic keeps my dog still and secure so he cant jump around. The padding on it makes it comfortable on his chest i also use it when taking him for a walk as it stops him pulling well worth every penny!"
