Pros: may work in perfect conditions
Cons: cannot be over-coated after final application, does not apply in a smooth coating, causes whites to turn yellowish, wrinkles very easily, takes too long to cure

"Don't waste your time, effort of money on this product. It may work but I've tried it on too occasions without any success inspite of following the quite poor instructions. The can should say much more clearly that it cannot be over-coated at anytime after it has cured. As it is recommended for motorcycle petrol tanks which are often scratched and need minor repairs, this product is not fit for purpose, in my view. The finish coming out of the can is also very suspect in that it does not seem to flow very well and gives a poor final finish."

"Restored my classic bike with a perfect white paint job with classic decals never had any problems ever with Halfords paints,, untill I sprayed the tank with this product, it turned a horrible yellow,, now the tank has to be stripped down and the expense of a respray and decals again. WARNING DO NOT USE ON WHITE PAINT should be on the can. thanks for nothing Halfords."

Pros: petrol proof i hope
Cons: it's yellow
"I used this on a tank I'd sprayed with Ford Frozen White and wish I hadn't.
Even with a couple of light coats my lovely bright white looks like a pre-smoking ban pub ceiling. It has a strong yellow tint. It's probably fine on dark colours but think twice before using over white. Very disappointed."

Cons: bad flow, orange peel
"I have been spraying custom bike tanks for years, and just recently found and used this tank lacquer, the spray flow is chunky with large deposits splattering the paintwork with an uneven flow. once the tank had dried and I give the time between coats at 48 hours (24 recommended) I start to give the second coat of lacquer, to my surprise the whole tank started to orange peel thus completely wrecking hours or work and preparation. I will never use this again and I strongly advise you not to. A complete waste of time and money."

Pros: easy touse
Cons: pressure
"This is a good product. Tends to loose pressure in the can after about 50% this means the spray mist becomes thicker and makes the finish like orange peel."
