Pros: a thousand uses
Cons: my missus hates the smell!

"I've used this filler paste for loads of different things over the years.
Basically it's a top quality Polyester filler.
Sticks to most things.
Easy to work with.
Add more setting agent to make it go off faster, but not too much as it will then start hardening within a minute of so.
Able to shape with a sharp knife when it's started to set and is the consistancy of a soft cheese.
You can use a flat blade at 90 degrees when it reaches the consistancy of a hard cheese to scrape/shave off the surface and get a great flat surface, then a light sanding to finish off.
Basically it's a top quality Polyester filler.
Sticks to most things.

Makes a great filler for permanant repair to the crumbled edges of sandstone detailing used on many Victorian properties...Sticks "like you know what!"
Used it to make an exact copy of an old wooden moulding,(using a plaster of paris mould) it even had the original wood grain marks on the finished item!
I've always got a tin in my shed for DIY purposes.
Can be thinned down with glass fibre resin if required.
Buy a big tin, you'll regret it if you don't."
