Cons: wouldve liked a strap to hold the facia in place

"Does what is says on the tin. Its a case for the faceplate of your stereo. My Sony fits perfectly, and there is adequate padding for me to feel that it will protect it. If you insist on having leather, or in throwing the faceplate against the wall, buy something else, otherwise should be perfectly adequate."

"My original stereo case cracked along the opening so was after a replacement when I found this, its bulkier than expected and would have preferred it to be a bit more snug fitting but provides great protection for the stereo and more secure than the original as it has a zip opening so no worries about it falling out."

Pros: well priced, seems well made, plenty of padding, fits alpine faceplates inside the standard case
Cons: not too keen on the fake leather look
"The inherent clumsiness of both myself and my girlfriend meant it was only a matter of time before the faceplate from my stereo was going to come to a nasty end - the standard plastic case tends to spit the fascia out all over the floor when dropped. So I knew I'd only been lucky so far...
Cue the Case Logic Faceplate Case. Halfords has this at a decent price, I reserved online and collected in store, nice and easy. The product itself seems hardwearing. I could do without the fake leather look personally, but there's certainly plenty of padding and the zip seems strong - so it should last a while.
And best of all, it's big enough to take my Alpine fasica inside its hard plastic Alpine case - so I get a double layer of protection (no guarantees other makes of stereo will fit the Case Logic case in this way).
All in all, well worth the cash. So if you're as clumsy as me, do your faceplate a favour and buy it."
