Pros: forks, back break Cons: the front break-pathetic!!
"i would not recomend this bike to you we had it for about 4 weeks and it had spent more time at halfords getting fixed than at my house. its has very poor quality mainly the duirailer, gears and especially the gears overall thought it is a nice bike to ride"

Cons: de-railer, frame not so good, its a heavy alloy
"I had this jump bike for three years atleast, it lasted not long untill it went back with front brake problems but came back and the brakes were awsome, but the bike was pretty heavy for an alloy frame, the tyres that came on as standard are still on the bike 3 years later, i have had many problems with the de-railer, it sounds like a very small stone in a tin can rolling down a hill. the plastic pedals that came with it cracked after a couple of weeks. the frame is only welded on, recently i gave it to my mate who lives down the road and now because it isnt worth keeping in its quality i hope the new owner now enjoys it.. it has lasted a long while though."

The Shimano TX30 is not the best product in the Shimano range, we have since changed the rear derailleur to the much more reliable Shimano TY22 in 2007.

Cons: expensive fake, weak plastic join instead of metal as other bikes
"Very disappointed. Have had several problems in the 4 weeks we've had it, just had to buy new METAL part as the one which broke was PLASTIC!!!! (Never seen this particular part in plastic on a bike before, its always metal.) Also its listed in the section "dirt / jump bikes" but is in fact only a poor copy, which is also poor quality."

"I don't know what everyones making a fuss about, its an excellent bike that will last you a long time if you know how to treat it right! Definatly worth it when it was £149, Not too sure about the price now though."

Pros: suspension is great, frame is realy good, brakes realy good Cons: gears are useless
"i think this was well worth the money at the time £159 but not now, the suspension is realy good and you get a realy nice ride out of this bike overall the bike is realy good the only problem i have is the gears wont go down to 1 so will be taking it bake to the store shortly and the brakes are perfect ."

Pros: the suspension, gears, brakes
"The Apollo X-Rated XC.05* 14/26" Mens Dirt Jump Style Bike is an outstanding bike. The brakes are excellent ! The suspension is very good ! I think it has the biggest suspension on any bike Halfords sell. I've never had any problems since I bought it (August 07)."
