"It's a good piece of kit, though it is a tight fit on a GT avalanche 1 so wouldn't call it a Jumbo."

"Bought this for my Boardman Hybrid Comp - reserved online and collected in store. Got text straight away to say it was ready to collect. Efficient and helpful experience from Halfords once again.
Easy to fit and looks great. In my opinion a chainstay protector is essential on every bke so why don't bike manufacturers fit one as stanhdard?"

"If you like mountain biking over rough terrain then this is a must, reduces the chain slap considerably. Like most good products, does not stand out visably out but performs its task well."

Pros: fits nicely once on, protects frame well, wont come off when riding
Cons: hard to get on, expensive for what it is
"This is actually better than i was excpecting, fits the curves of the frame in any direction really well however it is a REALLY tight squeze, probably could have done with ordering the bigger super jumbo model,however once its in place the velcro just sticks on matter what kind of abuse you put it through and fits pretty nice.
I ride the X-Rated X.05s dirt jump bike heavly modified, but does fit the frame ok... next time i might order the bigger size for this frame and recommend you do too, but don't be put off, it does fit the frame eventually after putting some elbow grease into it...not literally, because that would wreck it :)
Tip: to fit remove the rear wheel and put the bike upside down to give you more room to fit it if its a tight fit"

Pros: quality look and feel, available in a range of colours, easy to fit, adjustable
Cons: tight fit
"This item simply velcros around the chainstay. My bike has quite a wide frame so I was unsure if this would fit. The material is elasticated and stretches to fit with a bit of work. Once on it stay in place without problem."
