"I bought the Halfords professional tool chest for half price on line, so I had some spare cash for the socket tray. Wanted to buy a good set for a long and they will last. Does all I need for Lambretta repairs.

"Owning an old Landrover i seem to have more than my fair share of jobs so to this end i needed a good socket set and this kit is just the job. An excellent selection of 1/4 and 3/8s sockets and ratchets and also long reach sockets make this perfect for what i needed. Added to the fact if it breaks its covered by the lifetime warranty so you cant get fairer than that. Personally i think it knocks the spots of the more expensive suppliers and we all know who im talking about."

"well my socket set is close to its third birthday, and its still like new!
As i DIY mechanic i dont use my tools everyday but i still like to keep busy when possible. this set, like the 1/2 one also has seen quite alot of use and certainly abuse. none of the socket have worn and the chrome is in suprisingly good nick too!
all round its a brilliant little set, and for the money it has all you can ask for in 1/4 and 3/8 drive really.
the tray is good also, when putting the tools away at the end of the day i soon know if im missing a socket!"

"I have had Halfords tools for a long time and have recently purchased this set to replace some older tools. These are excellent value and quality and with a lifetime gauarantee you cannot fault them. Fit perfectly into the halfords tool box drawers too. "Halfords professional stuff is great value considering that most quality brands cost more than this, stuff like rolson, silverline etc wouldn't last a minute in my hands. Its worth getting Halfords stuff, I have loads of the stuff.

"Wide selection of sizes and packing tray fits into Halford Pro tool boxes a treat. Easy to read and good quality with a lifetime warranty of each item too. I have had to return a couple of the sockets and they have been exchanged without any quibble - but they do say "LIFETIME" so you cant expect anything less."
