"Not the most feature-packed device compared to the high-end ones, but a big step up from our old One Version 3. Bigger display helps of course but the mapping seems better too. Not had chance to use it much as yet, but so far so good. Lifetime map updates were the deal clincher for me"

"I am slightly hard of hearing, so would appreciate higher volume, or having a "male" voice giving directions including street names as my hearing problem is with higher notes.
My second problem is that using it on the M25 several times it showed the speed limit as 50mph ( instead of the correct 70mph), with the resultant annoying warning.
On the plus side a journey to a local hospital which I have used for over 12 years, has been reduced by 15 minute, thanks to the Tom Tom route."

Pros: clear maps and voice, recalibrating if you change your route
Cons: warnings for speed cameras
"Never having had a satnav before, I found I was impressed by the one I chose - it helped on several occasions when I was away from home for a few days - you need to apply common sense though when the maps are not as up to date as they should be e.g. 50mph stretches on the M62 or there's a temporary road probelm and you need to use a different route - I found the noises which were preset for speed cameras and exceeding the (apparent) speed limit very irritating and felt this area was the weakest - gentler reminders would be more useful"

"Screen not very responsive to touch compared to Garmin.
For me, the font design on the map itself, (black place names with white surround) was not sharp and therefore difficult to read.
The mph facility was inaccurate and not smooth in changing; generally five mph out, when it caught up!
