"Folds up so takes up 1/4 of the space a roof box would to store away has its own bag seams very strong sold zips perfect only wish did a bigger size as well this is fine but slightly taller would be good folds out in mins and so easy to lock to roof bars"

"Good item, made from good quality materials, quick and easy to mount on roof bars but not as big as it says. Can only really fit three maybe four medium sized holdalls. Definitely not as big as a medium sized car boot. Not even as big as my Fiesta boot."

Pros: the ability to fit and un-fit so easily
Cons: the initial fitting was a bit fiddly
"although we purchased a fairly large car there are times when it still isnt big enough....ie taking grandchildren on holiday so rather than buy a big cumbersome roofbox this unfolds on the roof, is easily fixed is fairly spacious,and kept everything safe from the elements (we encountered snowstorms on our outward journey and everything was still as we packed it) This roof box was easily dismantled while away,then refitted for the return journey, so we had the best of all situations."

Pros: light weight & waterproof, easy stowage, made of a thick dingy rubber material, no fiddly nuts& bolts
"Wanted extra storage for holiday after downsizing to a smaller carand the ranger ticked all the boxes.takes a couple of minutes to put on with the quick lock system and when not in use rolls up small to stow away.solid sides and base so doesnt sag and compared to a conventional roof box a miniscal space needed."

"Brought this as with a growing family the car had run out of standard space. The roof bars are really easy to fit, even in the freezing rain, the box was just as easy. The fitting mechanism works well and held fast all the way from Sussex to Cornwall. The inside of the box and all the contents stayed dry through rain, sleet and snow. Would recommend to anyone, great product.
If I could afford it I would also get the bags designed to fit inside, makes the best use of the internal space."

"After deciding to purchase a roof box instead of tying the tent etc to the roof bars, this was the only option. With not much storage space available, being able to fold it and put it into the attic was perfect.
It was easy to fit onto the bars we already had, the box seemed very strong and of good quality. I would recommend practising filling the box before you put it on the roof as then you can work out how much it will take - lots is the answer!
Easy to clean and protected our bags from very heavy rain.
The only issue is that the box received is actually the Ranger 90 (the 340L is discontinued) and the litre capacity is 280L on the box, however the measurements lead me to believe it is still 340L."

Pros: can remove mid trip
Cons: care needed packing for max efficiency
"Works exactly as described in store.
Used it to add additional luggage space on outward journey. Not required coming back so took it off, stuck it in the boot, and restored car to normal
Took longer to fit first time, mainly due to getting the knack of the connections, but once worked out very easy - 5 mins to take down
Only issue was the difficulty in seeing how full it was given the flexible walls and the height of my 4x4
Appeared to reduce economy by 5 mpg
Happy with my choice"

"The roof bag is easy to assemble and is made of a strong material. It is a good alternative to a solid roof box when you do not have the storage space or do not want to leave it on your car with the detrimental effect on fuel economy. Whilst it is not cheap I would recommend it."

"I wanted a top box but did have a lot of storage space, this was a good compromise system. Easy to fit and then can be either closed up and put inside the car, or stored on it's end in the carry bag in the corner of a garage."

Pros: dont need lots of space to keep it when not using, folds into the boot of the car, fits a surprising amount of stuff in it, good for odd shaped things
"Possibly the best practical purchase I have ever made. Recently used it to enable us to take more stuff camping and to festivals. Easy to use, fix and fill with a surprisingly large amount of assorted gubbins before going. Once at destination, remove gubbins, fold roof box and stored in boot (mostly to prevent paranoia of anyone nicking item as it is just so good). Even on the sleep deprived return to the car it was easy to re-attach - no bickering necessary. Could be done by pne person, but earier with two. Haven't tested it in torrential rain yet, but seems robust enough to handle it farily well. Good for random and lumpy shapes things - a solid box may struggle with things like pushchairs."

"This was very quick and easy to attach to my roof bars on my own. I was able to get coats, Quinny Zapp pushchair, 4 year old's bike, cool bag and other assorted items.
The only slightly disappointing point was that the lock is very small and doesn't seem to match the high quality of the roof box.
It was easy to pack away and store."

"If you need a roofbox but don't have the space to store it, then this is the answer. It is still pretty big when folded (I would say large tent size) however it works well on the roof. I fit it onto Thule Aero bars and it is very secure although I was disappointed that it didn't use the t-bar sliding fitting that are used by the other Thule systems.
Not perfectly waterproof so don't use it for holding your laptop or paper cash but I drove it through last weeks torrential rain for three hours and there was probably the grand total of about a teaspoon of water at the front of the box. It wasn't the zip that allowed the water in, it's really solid and well sealed, it must have been the fixings to the roof bars.
Other gripe is the plastic fixings which fit inside the roofbox are quite tall and are about 15cm in from the edge of the box, this can make packing solid objects like suitcases a bit of a pain.
A good purchase all in all."

Cons: a little on the expensive side, needs to be filled up for use can't be used empty
"Easily goes into the boot of a Focus, you can fit a Phil & Teds in it and it's easy to get on and off again. Only used in the dry but I can't imagine any water getting into this easily. Good quality materials well put together.
A little expensive but I think it'll last."
