Pros: easy to ride first bike
"Bought this bike for my six year olds birthday, she loves it. It is the perfect size for her to feel safe and confident, also able to adjust seat height and handle bars as she grows. The design and colour of the bike is really nice and she is really pleased with the basket. This is a good sturdy bike with a classic pretty appearance."

"The bike was a present for our daughter's 5th birthday. It's lovely colour ( girly but not pink! ), perfect size for her, breaks operates very soft and easy what is very important for small hands.
The basket is a great idea as kids can take bottle of water or favourite toy with them ( small though ).
Overall, great purchase."

Cons: plastic brake levers
"Excellent bike for my 6 year old who loves the basket! Really good posture and seating position allowing good access to brakes with those small hands. My only criticism of this lovely looking and built bike is the insistence on using plastic levers on bikes at this price level. This makes the braking action too stiff for small children which in turn forces them to use their shoes to stop!
Apart from this, I would recommend the Cherry lane bike for any budding Mary Poppins :-)"

"This is a beautiful bike, my daughter is a very girly girl pink and flowery, but loves this bike so much even though it's not pink. She saw this bike in the shop and instantly learnt to ride without stabilisers so she could have it. It was very easy to put together and we added a stand so she doesn't throw it on the floor which fittted perfectly. it's a sturdy bike for a youngster but pretty too and all round favourite"

Pros: the handlebars have multiple adjustment
Cons: it is quite a heavy bike for its size
"A really nice girls retro bike which is quite girlie and solid for those first few years. The colours are very soft and pretty without being too princess type which dominates most stuff for small girls. The brakes are superb with a lovely guard on the chain so no dirty clothes with chain oil possible. The basket at the front allows our little girl to take a small cuddly friend on her ride in the park. Cannot wait for summer cycles together!"

"We recently bought this bike for our 5 year old daughter and it is great in every way (buying it in the sale for half price assisted!) Straight away our little girl loved the look of it, lovely colour and characters and fab little basket on the front. "This is a great bike. It is well made and has lots of features. My 6 year old daughter loved it and I have sent a few more people off to buy one. Only downside was that after assembly we discovered that the front wheel was ever so slightly buckled. Halford's offered to straighten it immediately at no extra charge but, due to store location I actually took it to my local bike shop who sorted it out very quickly."
