Pros: easy fit, price
Cons: operating instructions are vague, face off release is fiddly
"I bought this to replace a faulty unit in my Vauxhall Astra. Was told I didn't need any other bits (fascia,harness) this trurned out to be true. I fitted the unit and found the cage (Sonichi call it a "collar") was much flimsier than my old stereo's cage. Anyway the fitting was okay but I had to really muck about to get the stereo unit locked into the collar.....took a lot of bending the mounting tabs and really pushing the unit in hard. Once fitted I turned it on and it lit up as expected, however when I selected DAB on the SRC button I got the display reading "no signal" took me ages to figure out that it needed a scan to pick up the stations even though I could see the station names as I scrolled through them. Once that was completed I got 42 stations picked up and the sound is great. The supplied antenna is fine."
