Cons: heavy!
"Decided to go for the Bosch over brand X mainly due to the warranty and higher rating.
Effortlessly started very cold V6 diesel with first twist of the key in recent snow.
Installing was hard work as this weighs a ton, noticeably heavier than the old brand X."

"Checked online to see if battery was compatible, it was. Reserved online with fitting. Yet when they saw what car it was a Ford S-Max. They said they wouldn't fit it because it would take more than the 10-15 mins they are allowed per customer.
They said they would refund the fitting, but battery was returned and refunded.
Very disappointed customer. They need to put this on website. So beware if you own a Ford S-Max or Galaxy because you will have the same problem"

Pros: certainty of supply, good price, minimum delay
Cons: bit slow in the store
"Total failure of my AUDI Avant TDI battery despite 24 hr charge left me isolated at my remote farm. Halfords reserve and collect service enabled me to find the correct battery at a very good price, arrange a lift to and back from your Ipswich store and be back on the road in less than six hours."
