"My 8 year old daughter bought this bike. Great value for money. Some of the 24" framed bikes were too big for her, mainly in the reach over to the handlebars, but this one was about 3 - 4 inches less and therefore she felt much more comfortable. A little problem with the chain coming off when she changes into 6th gear so will have to take back to get this adjusted. Otherwise, she loves her new bike."

"Bought the apollo vivid for my eight year old girls birthday. was bit worried because the 24" frame looked so big for her. the 20" was just to small with no room for growth so we went for the bigger size. she took to it like a duck to water. as a new rider having 18 gears was a bit confusing but we just kept it in a low gear till she is used to it. great looking bike good quality and a free tune up after 6 weeks. also by reserving online we got ten quid off when we paid in store. staff friendly and helpful so in all well worth the money."

"Pretty happy with our daughters new bike. We were very unsure as to the correct height of bike we should buy, and couldn't bring our daughter along as the bike was a present for her birthday. We were therefore lucky the bike was suitable for a 9 year old girl. She is more than happy though.

"Seems to be a good bike for a girl about 9 years old. My daughter had only just learned to cycle, and this bike is on the large side for her. But she loves it and she's really proud that it's her bike and she can ride it. Even though it's pink, it's not a bright colour so my tom-boy daughter is totally happy with the colour. Downsides are weight - it's a heavy bike for the size of the child likely to be riding it - and lack of some basics such as mudguards."

"I bough the bike for my daughter and it has been very easy for her to make the jump from a small child's bike, to this bigger girls bike, It is steel frame so heavier than the Aluminum frame, but for a girl who does not go off road much and rides it mainly on paths and roads to school its ideal."
