"So far the bike has been great. The seat was quite uncomfortable to start with but I've put it down to being just because I haven't ridden a bike in some time. It's quickly gotten a lot less noticeable at least."

Pros: smooth ride, good looks, easily maintained
Cons: lack of disk brakes, expected more for price, seat is uncomfortable, tyres are a little flimsy
"I Bought this bike to go to work on, for doing that is is perfect. I've taken it round Cannock Chase and it stood up to the task but the lack of disk brakes made it almost scary in places!
I would recommend this bike to anybody looking for something that won't fall apart in a week like most of the other bikes in the price range, an it looks good!
It would be worth buying a higher spec bike if you are looking to start mountain biking properly!"

Pros: style, looks, colour

"Great Bike, and fits me well, which is good as there is only a very little amount of adjustment to the seat and handle bars. Im 5.10 and fits me well.
The bike looks great, and looks modern. Has expensive looks about it, so all credit to the design team, good job.
Gear wise, if your looking for speed, this bike lacks at the top end, really does need anouther few gears. As even in top gear, if you get going on a good straight, or slight down hill and try to get more speed, you will be like a littler hamster on a wheel, with your legs wizzing around. Think if the other bike in the range which came with 24 speed had been cheaper, id have brought that.
The only other thing is, you really do need to be going the correct speed when you change gear for that gear, else it clunks horrible.
Front brake seems to rub on wheel, so again, I wish i had gone for the one with disc brakes. But told this will get sorted at the 6 week service, so thats all good.
The seat, is ok, too look at it, well it looks as hard as nails, but it well does do well.
Suspension wise, when you bike over the speed bumps, it works a dream, and no discomfort at all to your hands or arms.
All in all a great bike. Only marked down due to lack of gears, but then you know its a 21 speed before you by it. And got me up a really big hill. And thats after 6 years of not biking on the first go.
I would say if your paths and roads have the odd pot hole / bump then go for this bike, as the tyres and suspension will really be worth its money."

"The bike was purchased for my 23 year old son who wanted it for convenient travel to work whilst getting a little bit of exercise. It's very lightweight, yet also robust and definitely up to the job of the occasional 'bounce up kerbs,' potholes and an adventurous short cut across a field - although better weather would make that more of an option! The bike also looks good and has contemporary styling."

"this is a good little bike for the price, iv had a number of issues with the rear wheel spindal loosening causing movement in the wheel, and a few front derailar gear tuning issues. but the bike is so responsive and fun to ride. (just a note that halfords have been great at fixing the wheel, even after 7 months)"

Pros: the weight, smooth gear change, frame paint design
Cons: the stock tyres
"Over the last 14days I have certainly put the bike up against many very different terrains including long stretches of road, squelching mud tracks and everything in between! This bike is unstoppable with its v.light weight and quality build by the halfords staff. I feel the tyres are not quite upto my liking so I will be switching the stock kenda to the continental Mountain Kings for added off road performance. As many have said: the gears are a dream, having triggers instead of twist grips is far better than I would have imagined the shifting is smooth and would recommend this bike to anyone of any ability."

"Having had this bike for a fortnight I have yet to find a problem... If one exists!! I ride 80+ miles to work and back every week and this bike handles it well. A smooth pleasant ride.... Would def recommend

"As a Dad returning to bike travel to work, around 16miles aday i used my old full suspension bike for the 1st time in about 10 years which completely destroyed me to say the least, so i needed a new bike.
Just bought this one about 2hrs ago, assembled it myself, very easy to do.
Now in my opinion this is a fantastic bike, looks great, excellent components all over it, light and rides like a dream.
For the money you pay, you get a super fantastic bike."

"This is a good entry level bike. It is light weight but feels sturdy. An excellent product for what I wanted it for which is to ride to work and occasionally do a bit of pleasure riding. Good value for money. I agree the seat does look as it would be uncomfortable but actually isn't.
