"This was the cd i chose to put in my mk4 fiesta and im impressed with the sound quality ! I have bose component speakers and some 6x9s and even without an amp it still sounds good
The features of this head unit are also ok and it looks nice at night but not too blinding

"Excellent solid unit with great performance. Easy to fit.
I have a spotify account and can now access all songs from my mobile account. It really does make commuting a pleasure again. Great customer service from Halfords knowledgable staff in Speke also."

"bought this as it was on offer and is very simple to use and looks smart. i was more impressed with the help from john at the loughborough store as i just wanted the cheapest cd player for an old car but didnt want to pay a fortune. he told me what to do and i installed it myself very easy. i was unimpressed with the rest of the staff as they were not helpful at all and if it wasnt for john i wouldn visit that store again."

"If you want a simple, easy to use car stereo, then this is for you. Has really good sound with an amp that you can adjust to your own preferences. Buttons are easy to use when driving & the display is very clear. Also easy to wire up to steering wheel controls as well.
I fitted this myself inside 5 minutes. Was really easy to do.
Only annoying point is that sometimes when you go to adjust the volume, you hit a bump in the road & you accidently switch from CD to Aux or Tuner.
Radio stations are really easy to tune & setting up Traffic Anouncements is a piece of cake as well. Plays MP3 Cds as well which is a bonus."

"This really is an excellent upgrade stereo, the built in MOSFET amp really kicks a powerful punch, linked to my Alpine type G and Focal polyglass speakers gives a beautiful rich sound!! Good functions, easy to operate with very good levelling features to get that sound just how you like it. Very pleased with the all round performance and ease of use. Also gives you a separate 'out' connection to the rear for the option to expand further with an amp to power a sub or additional speaker configuration. Also allows you to play your favourite tunes through an auxiliary port located on the front. A feature I did really like was the remote control attachment (bought separately) allowing you to flick through radio stations and volume control from the steering wheel, always useful and much safer than fiddling around with buttons whilst on the move. Looks good and at night not dazzling like some other displays. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality stereo which is simple to install, yet powerful enough to run good quality speakers without the hassle of fitting amps etc!!"

"This is the second one of these radios I've purchased for another car. These radios look great, especially whilst driving at night. The controls are easy to learn without instructions and it gives you plenty of options for adjusting sound. Thoroughly recommend."

"My husband bought this for me for Xmas and after a couple of issues including an extra trip to Halfords to buy a aeriel adaptor eventually fitted it into my old Vauxhall Astra.
I cannot use the steering wheel controls as that would be an additional £30 which I'm not prepared to spend.
Apart from that the sound is good and once we had it connected correctly and the radio was tuned it works perfectly and I am very pleased with it.
The staff member at the Midsomer Norton Branch who fits audio equipment was extremely helpful and patient with my questions."

"I bought this on 1st December when it was on special offer, and at the price I paid I really cannot fault it in any way.
I'm a bit of an audiophile and wasn't impressed with the sound quality of the head unit I had (the factory one), but have always found the quality of Pioneer hi-fi equipment to be of good quality so thought this was worth a punt.
The improvement over the factory head unit was vast, with punchier bass and good midrange, and it is able to drive the standard speakers to a decent volume without any appreciable distortion.
The only downer is that at full price, I would expect a USB input with smartphone integration. However in reality the sound quality more than makes up for it.
