Review 2 for Outdoors Unlimited Hat and Glove Set in Fluorescent Yellow
High Visibility, Quite Good Quality,
February 06, 2011
from Brighton, England
Pros: high visibility, warm, stretchy to cover ears, not too thick for helmet, stylish and trendy, gloves have elasticated cuffs to keep out wind, excellent value for money
Cons: gloves and hat aren't waterproof, gloves won't keep your hands warm in extreme cold
"I bought this mainly for the hat as the hat I'd been using under my helmet previously was way too thin and didn't really come down over my ears. This hat changes all that. It's just thick enough for keeping you warm without you needing to loosen your helmet too much. The hat also has plenty of stretchiness to be pulled down right over your ears. Add to that the huge high-visibility strip around it which makes you shine like a beacon day or night.
As for the gloves, I didn't really need them as I already have a pair of thick waterproof/windproof cycling gloves. However, if you're looking for medium warmth and additional high-visibility then it's definitely worth wearing them with the hat. Just don't go expecting them to keep your hands warm in extremely low temperatures or dry when it's raining."
