"The pencil does the job very well - comfortable and accurate to use around detail - just what I wanted. Reserved the pencil on line , picked it up at local shop. Cheaper than shopping on Ebay as no postage cheers georgej"

Review 2 for Abrasive Pencil 4mm
Just the ticket,
September 16, 2010
from Hampshire coast
Pros: excelent price, right size for model working
Cons: slightly cheep construction but hasn't fallen apa
"After spending hours looking for this tool in model shops and DIY stores, it was a breath of fresh air to find it at Halfords, and not just one! It was also much cheaper than I found in a model shop (which had already sold the one they usually have in stock). This is a great tool for cleaning up metal (rails, pins, bits of tins) in preparation for soldering. Brilliant, can't do without it."
A unique aid for stone chip and small rust repairs,
May 23, 2010
from Yorkshire, England
Pros: nothing better for stone chips
Cons: not advertised well enough!
"This excellent little tool is an absolute gem for accurate stone chip sanding and preparation for primer and top coat . Much better than trying to use small bits of sandpaper and cheaper than one of those 'little electric sander tools'. Can be operated dextrously so good nearby paint finish is unscratched. I thoroughly recommend it , but dont forget to wear your eye protection ( safety specs or goggles) as small bits of glass fibre strands can wear off and get windborne. You dont hear of many products with a total 5 star rating, but this is one of them in my opinion - get one in your tool pack now, you wont regret it"
