Pros: spec, price, set up, weight
Cons: check all bolts, would be better with three up front, white grips!!
"Well I was never too sure about the boardman Fs as long been a giant fan. I had heard at lot if good reviews and I had the opportunity in the c2w sceme so I got one. I then went and found a nice big off road route and hit it hard.
Brilliant bike could handle everything the shocks were great and took bike hits with the little ones great set up but did take some getting use to the SRAM shifters and 2x10 gear set up. The only issues I had was pedals not grippy enough and CHECK THE BOLTS ARE FULLY TIGHT my crank arm nearly fell off. Not impressed at this but lucky I know about bikes and fixed it. New ridders please check. Halfords staff good and quick took it back just to check the crank and they did it there and then. Overall best bike for money by far you can't go wrong!!!"

Pros: good specification and looks the part
Cons: white seat and handle grips
"I took plenty of time to choose this bike and compared to other similar ones in this price bracket. Worth taking the time as I've put it through its paces last weekend on the pennines in wet conditions some rocky routes and it performed well. Smooth gear changes, suspension provided a comfort and also terrific on uphill with opportunity to reduce recoil on suspension. I'm used to a hardtail with v pull brakes so having the hydraulic brakes gave me aded confidence on the downhill. Other reviews gave the tyres a bit of a negative but at 2.2 and Continental Mountain King they gave great traction, no significant slip at all. Only minor criticism is the white seat and handle grips which isn't very practical but my riding mates all commented on the smart overall appearance. Handled superbly and very good components for this price. Can't wait to get out in Dalby on it."
