"Excellent machine. High quality perfect ride if you are looking for one bike that does it all. I use for road, commute and trail. Lightweight, responsive, fast, durable. Looks great too. I am 6'4" 100 kg and have the extra large option (I'm talking about the bike too) Great fit! Definitely recommend this bike."

Pros: build quality & durability, comfort, all round useability
Cons: saddle was loose after collection from store.
"Purchased in Coolick, Dublin. Fantastic value especially when compared to similarly specified CX bikes. I use mine as a winter trainer and commuter (3 days a week). I keep the carbon road bike for summer. I changed the tyres to 23mm Gatorskins for the road & commuting, but still have the originals if required."

"Rode the bike back from Halfords this afternoon and had a SERIOUSLY fun time!
Bought it to commute along an all-terrain route of on-road, footpath and off-road and am sure it's going to handle it with ease. On tarmac it's smooth and fast (you'll need the disk brakes); footpaths almost as fast but any rough surfaces are taken in its stride and off-road (I didn't throw it at anything too challenging on the first ride!) it's as good as any rigid-frame mountain bike I've riden.
The narrow tyres obviously don't give you the same stability or shock absorbtion of wider off-road tyres but traction off-road on a steep, soggy, grass slope was impressive. Seems like the best-of-all-worlds!!!
Add to that it's light, looks superb and seems a quality build and I don't think you can go wrong.
The staff at Halfords Loughborough were super-helpful describing the spec (they didn't have a CX built up), chasing down an XL version and the bike was well set up.
Fingers crossed it turns out to be as good as the first impression it's made."

"Bicycle is awesome, halfords sizing guide is useless to say the least.
186cm or 6ft 1.5 = Large frame, but needs a shorter stem which Halfords wont swap out.
Get the boxed version, and build it yourself. Trust me. Save yourself time and money.
Briliant bicycle. Ride is easy and requires little effort or power to get moving. Not a snappy speed machine I was hoping for, but considering I wanted offroad ability you can call me crazy."

Pros: quality feel and comfort ride, light keep up with roadies, pure touring bike, dual break levers
Cons: pedal's for me had to change them, rim tape not seated correctly
"decide to try the cyclo cross as most of my riding is inner city and weekend touring. coming from a Road bike this CX is a dream to ride !. the ride comfort is great.
little touches like dual leaver breaks make a huge difference, disk breaks once bedded in are very sharp and firm better than road breaks especially in the wet.
the whole bike is very light and has a very strong feel like a mountain bike your not afraid of hitting the paths, getting up onto ur peddles is a lot easier i found and my confidence has grown.
great for touring is the ability to stick a rack on the back all the drilled fitting and screws ready on the frame.
gearing is spot on ! i can still tackle the steep hills i did on my road bike and hit 30 + miles hour on the down straights with ease.
peddles i changed to shimano spd m324 for the fact that they can take both spd shoes and trainers with i want to run to the local shops
the negative points are i had 2 punctures on the back tire with in few days, after investigation found that the rim tape hadnt been seated correctly and the spoke holes had cut the tube, some masking tape and new tube cured the issue.
service was great but i was left to setup the finer tuning of the bike myself, i think halford could do with having a turbo trainer instore where people can try the bikes and get help with adjustments and fine tuning, as these are no longer cheap bikes little touches would help convince the skeptics and brand snobs :)
all in all im very happy with it and have sold the road bike and mountain bike now this does it all !"
