"Easy to setup and fit with appropriate fitting kit to our Mondeo. Seems to fit snugly, not tried it 'on the road' yet but doesn't look like it will be any problem"

"You have to order the fitting kit separately in store, which was not really a problem. What was however, is that there is no padding on the kit so you are fitting metal on metal to the car. I had to cut up some foam to use to protect the paintwork on my car."

Cons: sometimes hard to understand the instructions
"Great product, strong and sturdy. Overall this is a good product, perhaps a little fiddly for anyone who has not fitted roof bars before. I would recommend better clearer instructions.
Please note that the Halfords website does not inform you that there is an additional part which is essential to fit to a BMW Mini - The Short Roof Adaptor (774). It wasn't until purchasing and attempting to fit the roof bars that we realised this part was essential."

"Easy to fit yourself, no need to get suppliers to do it for you. Sturdy and quiet in transit with aero bar option. Used primarily for surfboard transit. Definitely worth the money. A real top end product"

"Hadn't understood from the web that I would also needing a fixing kit so this needed to be ordered separately. The chap in the store was very helpful in pointing this out and finding the right one. Feared it was going to be very complicated to fit but instructions were very clear."

Pros: good looking, low wind noise, good quality
Cons: fairly expensive for what they are.
"Needed a roofbox and so needed roofbars, too. The Thule aerobars looked better than the square and so I decided to go for them. The bars, foot pack and fitting kit were relatively simple to assemble and fitted on the car perfectly first time. Subsequently I was able to fit them with care on my own without damaging the car which was a bonus."
