"I did what people normally do when they buy a mountain bike and rarely use it off road. Replaced the tyres with these city ones. To say they were different would be a a bit of an understatement. They are very good when the road is smooth but add a few rough sections and bumps and if they are inflated to the recommended pressure then you are going to feel it if you haven't a suspension bike. I was definitely quicker on my runs but because the roads round my way aren't the best it was a little less comfortable."

"I've just been to my local Halfords and got the Bike hut technician to put these tyres on my aging mountain bike, I simply brought these based on the other reviews and the feedback is definitely well deserved and very accurate.
I no longer struggle with seriously treaded MTB tyres and although I am new to the Schwalbe brand, these tyres had an immediate impact on how easy it was to ride again and offered low resistance on the road. What a pleasure!"

"Good quality commuter tyre. Low rolling resistance and so dar seem robust enough for general road running. Only downside was the tryes were left distorted owing to how they had been packaged (they had been folded and creased)."

"I have always had good experiences with Schwalbe tyres. They seem to offer good performance for reasonable cost. Reading other reviews on these tyres the main attraction was a fast tyre that was also pretty bullet-proof.
I have only been riding them for a couple of weeks but at first impressions they live up to this - the tyre grips well in wet and dry conditions at speed. It can be pumped up to 85 psi and has a v shaped profile so less is in contact with the road than the width suggests. They are not particularly light but no punctures so far so the active line kevlar belt seems capable. Recommended."

Pros: puncture protection, fast road tyre
"I bought a pair of these for my mountain bike when I put a child seat on the back 3 years ago. Rolling resistance is low at ~80psi (85psi max pressure) and I never had a puncture in 3 years (can you imagine the hassle trying to repair a puncture with small child in tow?). I recently converted a tandem to use with my now 4-year old, so put a set of these on this bike too as I think they're great."

Pros: fast 26" tyre

"Bought these tyres at the reduced price, have just ridden through May's wet weather, i do 200 miles a week commuting and i ride back at night which would give ideal time for these tyres to pick up a puncture.
I ride on back country lanes and the tyres have worn extremely well even though they have picked up a couple of minor cuts.
They were easy to fit with no tyre levers needed.
For what these tyres are i have been very happy with the purchase, but i have now up graded to the Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres, mainly for peace of mind riding home 20 miles from work at 2 am in the morning.
But overall i would give these tyres 5 stars as they roll well and have a good build quality to them.
I would if needed buy these tyres again."

"they are black, round and go on your bike wheels. You will need to pump them up yourself though as mine were supplied with no air in them at all. I live in quite a flat part of the country so can't comment on how they work on hills. They go OK on flat tarmac. I have asked the tyres and they complain of slight dizziness after prolonged use."

"Good quality tyre with low rolling resistance and low profile "slick" looks. Performs well on a hybrid. Plenty of grip on both wet and dry surfaces even at 85 p.s.i. Directional tyre, easy to fit, but tyre levers recommended."
