Pros: very spacious
Cons: pretty much everything else
"My partner and I have 19 years combined camping experience and we have never seen such a poor quality tent, especially considering the price. The tent was quite difficult to put up with 2 people as the poles do not stand up by themselves, they only stay erect after guying them. The flysheet at the back of the tent was very loose and flappy, and no matter what we did we could not make it taut (we tried several positions, directions and still nothing). This made the tent extremely noisy as it flapped in the wind even when the wind was only very light (other reviews also mention the problems with the loose back) After a showery day we discovered that the side door of the tent leaked a lot, despite the taped seams. On our third night the weather was very windy and the tent completely collapsed. The steel poles were pathetic at standing up to the wind (with almost all of them bending completely in half). You could argue that the force of the wind was the problem and that no tent could have stood up to it (we originally thought this) but the next morning we discovered that NO other tent on the entire campsite had even come close to collapsing, even a very cheap Millets one near to us. We checked the weather reports and found that the wind had only been a force 6 which equals a strong breeze (i.e. a normal british windy day). We returned the tent the next day and Halford's were extremely friendly and took it back without question, giving us a full refund.
I accept that we may have picked a faulty tent but I would not be willing to risk it again. If you purchase this tent then use ONLY in calm, perfect, summer weather because even if it doesn't collapse like ours, the loose/flappy back is extremely noisy and will not be pulled tight and the side door leaks after showers (cannot immagine what it is like after heavy rain)

"Me and the Mrs are experienced campers and had a nitemare erecting this tent. Took us well over 1hour so be careful if you think this is a doddle.
I was also concerned about the flappy end - whatever we did we could not get a neat tight finish. I would be concerned about this tent if we had a lot of rain."

"Bought this after reading a number of reviews; First trip, weekend was wet and windy but the tent kept us dry and held very firm..
Good: nice size for a family of 4/5. Lots of space inside, bedroom huge, lots of headroom, detachable groundsheet fixes neatly and kept the place dry and easy to clean once removed. Fluorescent guide ropes stop the kids from tripping on them. Easy tent for 2 to erect, colour coded poles. Everything fits back into the bag.
Bad: nothing that I can think of. elasticated straps holding the bedroom doesn't look as strong as the rest.
After my first trip this year I couldn't be more pleased."

"Bought the tent for a festival later this summer and to try it out we went to the New Forest this weekend, easy to put up, plenty of space, we are delighted, especially as it is so easy to pack away as well."

Pros: size, value, quality, strenght
"Took this to Wittering this weekend and stayed for 2 nights. The wind was non stop and the tent stood up well to it.
Great size. 4 single airbeds in the bedroom made us all snug as a bug in the cold and wind.
Living area a nice size. Shame we couldn't try the doors open but that was due to the weather.
My only moan if there were an extension available to add on it would be perfect, an added part where you could put your kitchen would be great."

Pros: easy to put up and down, sturdy, adequate space
Cons: dividing wall a little flimsy
"First time purchase of a tent, looked at many on the internet and their reviews and opted for this one. We couldn't have been happier with it. The tent was easy to put up and down, the space it provided was adequate for two adults and three children. All parts of the tent structure aligned properly.
Felt the dividing wall in the bedroom could have been faasened with a zip rather than hooked on for better privacy.
All round very pleased - can't wait to go again!

Pros: great space & height
"We were looking for a tent for both trips away with the children and for festival without them. This tent fitted the bill really well.
We tried it out in the garden first, instructions for putting it up were fairly clear and are attached to the bag which is great as unlikely to get lost! It took around 25 - 30 mins to complete.
Having had a trial run we went camping with children - aged 3 and 5 this weekend. We had excellent weather so can't comment on what it would be like in the wind/rain but it seemed really sturdy. The bedroom compartment is really large. Big enough for 2 double airbeds with good space in the middle. You can separate it in to two sections with a divider which is provided. This was fine for us, however if you are looking for any kind of privacy from whoever is in the other part I would suggest a different tent as it does just divide the space.
Tent is a good height, you can stand up both in bedroom and living area. Living area is a good size, we were able to fit our camping table and 4 chairs in easily, as well as our bags and all our other kit.
As with all tents, if you filled it up to the capacity I suspect that you would be a little cramped but you do expect that. It was great for our family. If you have older children or you want a little privacy from your fellow tent sharers, this probably isn't the right one for you. If you have a young family though or just like a bit of space for yourselves, I honestly don't think you could go wrong with this tent.
Oh and it packs away back in the bag without too much trouble. If I were actively looking for a negative I would say that as it's fairly heavy (I am a lightweight!) I would have liked it to be in a bag on wheels but that's all."

Pros: huge
Cons: heavy
"Spent alot of time looking at family tents and kept coming back to this one as the price was just so good. Reserved online and picked up in store. Pitched it a day later. Had a few problems pitching as it is a very large tent and I was only used to 2 man tents. But once everything came together it became obvious that I'd made the right choice. This tent is a palace. It's huge. I'm 6'4" and I can easily walk into the living area and stand upright. The sleeping area is equally large with a fitted groundsheet and I like the movable divider. Overall a fantastic tent."

Pros: really massive tent big enough for a big family, plenty of privacy when the doors closed
Cons: takles a while to put up and get right
"Bought this tent at half price and was well worth it. The living area is massive big enough for furniture and our three small children to play when it rained. The bedroom fitted 5 and you could sqeeze more in. Plenty of storage compartments too. Was actually going to choose a different tent but it wasnt in stock glad we got this one as plenty of privacy as no windows in the living area so could double up as another bedroom space if needed. The only downside was it took a while to put up went by the instructions which were useless as it kept falling but got there in the end our own way."
