"Had a coolant leakage (about 200ml per 100 miles) coming out of the head gasket. This product seemed to have done the trick, although I've only done 200 miles since using it.
Just one tip, shake bottle really well before using it."

Pros: cures your engine troubles, seals leaks or engine problems
Car Make MG ZR
"I dont normally write reviews because of time, but this is an exception. I initially had a problem with my engine & on driving one day the engine overheated and the coolent bottle had blown, the car run dry of all water. I discovered there was leak in the coolant system and possibly the engine had a crack, the head gaskget had not failed at this point. I used Rad Weld to get me out of trouble and after never using a product like this before, it will definately get you out of trouble it has so far cured my problem this stuff is brilliant and would highly reccomend it to get you out of trouble, however i think if the gasket has failed it may not be as effective but any coolant leaks, engine leaks cracks or radiator problems this stuff works trust me im shocked at how good it is - it may not last forver but for now its holding up."

Pros: value for money, easy to use, works quickly and effectively
Car Make Ford KA
"I was having trouble with a leak in my radiator of my Ford KA and was informed by my local garage that I would have to buy a new radiator. It was just before xmas and as money was tight I decided to try 'Holts Radweld Plus 250ml' and see if it made a difference first. I bought the product and poured it into my coolant tank and ran the engine on idle with the heater on for 30mins. Afterwards, I turned the engine off and waited until it had cooled down then I topped up the coolant tank with a mixture of coolant/anti-freeze. I couldn't believe it when I went out the next day as my radiator no longer leaked or overheated at all and buying 'Holts Radweld Plus' had saved me a lot of money from buying a new radiator! I would thorougly recommend buying this product!"

Pros: did what its meant to do it stopped the leak!
Cons: halfords needs to stock more of this product.

"I got this item as a last option after trying to locate a coolant leak, looking for two days, and could not find it. After reading the reviews on halfords I decided to take a chance with this stuff before I went to a garage. I did what it said on the bottle and After the 15mins to this day so far its worked Not a leak insight. I have not topped up for about two - three weeks now, from topping up everyday. So I highly recommend this product if you cant find the leak! 10/10 Its a Chance that worked out for the best!"

"I had a coolant leak on my 1999 1.6 Megané. I suspected a heater matrix leak as the back window was always misted up inside in winter. I poured half a bottle of Radweld Plus into the reservoir and left the car on tick-over while I washed it. I topped up the reservoir and in two weeks the level hasn't moved. Brilliant.
PS I put 4 bars for value as I think everything should be cheaper than it is but for what it does this product is worth every penny."

"Had oil seeping into coolant from probable leaking head gasket , syphoned the contaminated coolant mixture from expansion tank , mixed some new coolant / water mix and added recommended amount of Holts Radweld Plus, mixed it all together and poured into the expansion tank, ran engine for recommended time. In my case, Result!, it worked. Will now do a complete coolant change.Brilliant product !."

"I bought this to fix a problem with a minute leak from the coolant that was getting into one of the cylinders on my Skoda Fabia, causing a slight discolouration of the spark plug and misfiring on start up from cold. The coolant level was also slowly dropping.
If I hadn't bought this, it would have meant a very expensive cylinder head gasket replacement job. I haven't had a problem with leaking or misfiring since I put it in (3 weeks ago) and it seems to have done the job!"

"Look no further. This brilliant product has saved me the expense of a new radiator and labour charges. What's more it's easy to use - no fuss, no mess!
Pros: it fixes fairly quickly, once fixed it appears to stay fixed, very easy to use, the instructions don't require translation
Cons: a high price if you end up need a new radiator
"When my mothers Prelude developed an annoying leak which I couldn't quite track down, this stuff 'cured' it within about an hour and it stayed fixed.. That is, until the entire bottom of the radiator fell out.
What I hadn't realised is that a previous owner must have (for whatever reason) installed an after market radiator that just wasn't quite up to Honda standards and it had corroded over the years.
What is most amazing is when we looked at the bottom part which had literally just fallen off, the radfix was quite firmly holding in the initial corroded areas where the first leaks had opened up but, sadly, it just wasn't up to an entire radiator seal ;-)
So the moral of the story is, if it's just a leak, this stuff will fix it. However, you might want to check it really is 'just a leak'"

"The heater matrix on my Citroen Berlingo van started leaking badly into the passenger foot well, the only way to replace it was to take out the whole of the dash console, this is an enormous task and involves many hours work even in a well equiped workshop, and I don't have one, the cost to get it done by a garage doesn't bear thinking about. I did a search for Radweld and came up with this product at Halfords, I am so glad I found it, after following the instructions to the letter, 30 minutes later the leak had stopped now several weeks on and there is still no leak. Thanks very much Halfords and Radweld Plus"

Pros: easy to use, works!

"This stuff was my last resort (didn't want to pay a mechanic to do the job) as it just doesn't feel right putting some weird glue compound in to the cooling system. Before I used it on my 2000 Citroen Saxo the coolant level dropped below the minimum line on the tank in about a week. After i used it the coolant level is still at max 2 weeks on. A friend told me to mix it with a bit of coolant so it is less likely to clog something so thats what i did. Overall I'd recommend it if you can't find the leak and you don't want to pay someone and just make sure you reed the instructions carefully."

"Nissan N14 16v consumed a little water and the end of the exhaust pipe often was wetter than the average. 50 miles after using the Radwell plus the moisture is terminated at the end of the exhaust pipe and the water loss is less than before."
