"Fantastic quality at a fantastic price - if bought in the sale, this is very hard to beat.
Very light weight, well built piece of kit. Should last well for any siblings.
My 5 year old boy (very tall) has the 20" version and could not be happier.
Twist shift gears are very easy to get the hang of quickly and work flawlessly.
I would definitely recommend this product."

"We purchased a Carrera Blast 5-7 (16 inch wheel) bike last year. My son enjoyed using that and managed quite a lot of trouble free riding over the year. Having just turned 7, we decided that he was ready for his next bicycle and one with gears! So for Christmas we bought him a 7-9 (20 inch wheel). Having had a quick look around at prices and value, we didn't think long before choosing more of the same and going with the next size Carrara Blast. He has already been out for a couple of reasonable rides and shown that he can easily use the gears. These aluminium frames make for a lighter weight and hence, thanks to the gears, he can now manage hills easier, where he grumbled before. Looking forward to some longer rides this year... (His old bike sold for a good price too, so I was pleased with that)."

"bought this for my 7 year old. it's taken a few days for him to get used to the gears, but he seems to really like it. i think the brakes are a little low on the handlebars, but we did buy this for him to grow into.
as he's only had it one week, it's difficult to comment on long term performance.
