Pros: quality tubes & valves, seal most slow punctures
Cons: adds grams, cost more than standard tubes
"Having bought the Bikehut tubes as a "value" buy, I was just blown away by the sheer quality of these tubes and valves. They are HIGHER quality than more expensive self-sealer tubes by "name" brands. They seem very well made, with good materials and reassuringly solid Presta valve. The sealant initially not apparent, on inflating tube appears to be a latex solution, slight smell of "copydex" and a light white colour. It's a little disconcerting to hear it slosh about the tube when tyre fitting and spinning wheel slowly. Whilst I suspect there's a very generous quantity of sealant, best to keep it out the valve so in/de-flate at 4o'clock after letting sealant drain to bottom of tube. However matched with Schwalbe Marathon Plus 700x32C tyres, the tubes bought as a set, cost little more than standard tubes, and the bike rolls well and feels really smooth and glued to the varied local roads. The bike's giving me a lot of feel and steers very precisely, despite sealant potentially sloshing around."

"Bought 3 inner tubes for the price of two. The items were despatched very quickly and arrived in perfect condition soon after. They were just what I wanted and are a good quality. Would reccommend using Halfords online to anyone and will consider using the site again myself in the future."
