"This is ideal for deriving an ignition feed for accesories such as navigation, camera detectors and phone kits. I used it for a heated seat kit, but you must use a relay if you need more than 300ma current draw, (which I did). This unit does not connect to the Can Bus, it has a conection to a permanant live and ground, and then senses when the engine is running by the increase in voltage. Works a treat and is easy to program. However, it is not out on display in the stores, and you have to get them to have a look in their installation parts out the back. The only thing to remember is unit will not provide a feed if the engine is not running."
